"I'll drop you in your condo." I stated.
"Doon muna ako sainyo." Nilingon ko siya ng walang emosyon. "Eyes on the road!" He said in panick.
"I said, I'll drop you in your condo, end of the discussion." And then I looked back straight at the road.
"S-Slow down, Athena." He warned but I didn't mind, mas binilisan ko pa ang pagmamaneho.
I smoothly parked the car at the front of his condo building, I got out the car and was about to helped him with his luggage but he was fast enough to get it before I could.
"Aalis na ako." Paalam ko.
"Ingat ka." Saad niya nang hindi ako tinitignan habang kunware niyang inaayos ang mga bagahe niya. I just sighed and washed it off with a shook of my head. "Athena." Papasok na sana ako sa kotse eh.
"Bakit?"
"When we were at the Island, you told me that you needed to tell me something that is important." Seryusong sabi niya na ikinalunok ko. "What is that?"
"Forget about it. I'll just call you if I already have the strength to tell you everything." Right after I said that I went back inside the car and drove off. I looked at him at the mirror and he was still standing there like he just got dumped. "I tried many times, Damon. I fucking tried."
Mas binilisan ko pa ang takbo ng kotse hanggang sa makarating ako sa mansion, kumunot agad ang noo ko nang makakita ako ng mga guards. I was sure I instructed Lucifer to give them a vacation while I'm gone. I parked the car right in front of the house and furiously got out. I pushed the main door with such force and made every maid stop from what they are doing.
"Asan si manang Sally?" Pigil sigaw kong tanong.
"Nandito ako ija, bakit nandito kana-"
"ANO BANG GINAGAWA NIYO DITO?! HINDI BA AT IBINILIN KONG UMUWI MUNA KAYO?! BAKIT NANDITO PARIN KAYO?!"
Umalingawngaw sa buong sala ang boses ko. Lahat silang napayuko. I am so exhausted and frustrated from what is happening. The fatigue is taking my emotions.
"Sabi po kasi ni Sir Lucifer, mas magiging ligtas kung mananatili kami dito." Pagpapaliwanag ni Manang. Nasapo ko na lang ang noo ko at napamura.
"Asan si Tyrine? Si Lucifer? Why is no one answering my goddamn call?! Nandito naman pala kayo bakit sumasagot sa telepeno?!"
"Bilin po kasi ni Sir Lucifer na wa-"
"Tanginang Lucifer yan!" I bite my lips out of frustration. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath to calm myself first before talking again. "Asan sabi si Lucifer, Manang?" Pero imbes na sagotin ako ay mas lalo lang itong napayuko. "Masesesante kayong lahat kapag hindi niyo saakin sinabi ngayon din kung nasaan yung dalawa." Lahat sila ay nag-aalalang napalingon saakin pero agad din naman napayuko nang pagtaasan ko sila ng kilay.
"N-Nasa hospital po sila ngayon ma'am." Nanghihina akong napaupo sa sofa.
"Anong nangyare?" Kalmado kong tanong habang nakayuko pero walang sumagot ni isa. "ANO SABING NANGYARE?!" Muli na naman akong napatayo sa galit pero nanatili silang nakayuko at tikom ang bibig. "Fine! I'll find it out myself."
Lumabas ako ng bahay at dumeretso sa nakaparadang kotse at agad itong pinaharorot papunta sa pinakamalapit na hospital. Kung kailangan kong isa-isahin ang hospital dito sa Pilipinas gagawin ko. I was worrying so fucking hard to the point that its killing me! They had one fucking job! And that is to update from fucking time to time! Agad kong pinark ang kotse at nag mamadaling pumasok sa hospital.
