Landon stands up straight as he watches Jaylen collect himself.

Landon leans down to him once he was able to get his senses back.

His grey eyes set themselves on a cold glare as he speaks towards him,

"Never, touch what's mine." His voice comes out low and dark.

He stands up straight again and turns away striding towards the shocked lady holding our food.

He takes it from her and walks towards the front doors.

I scrabble myself towards him nearly tripping in the process, trying to keep up with his long strides.

We make it to the car, without him even glancing at me he opens the car door for me and I just get in without saying a word.

He puts the food on my lap and shuts the door.

He goes to his side getting in.

He sits there, closing his eyes and leaning his head back.

I just sit there in silence, waiting for him to burst.

But he doesn't.

Instead, he opens his eyes and looks at me, he takes my hand lifting it to his lips and kisses it.

"You okay?" He whispers out.

I let out a throaty laugh and look up at him shaking my head.

"I should be asking you that," I tell him.

He rolls his eyes and a small smile plays on his lips.

I bite my lip keeping myself from smiling stupidly from just seeing the smile.

"Who?" He asks me, his face going back to its emotionless one.

"My ex," I reply to him.

He nods his head slowly while turning his attention back to the front.

"He was a dick, he used me," I explain to him while keeping my attention on my hands.

His gaze turns to me as it grows dark again, his jaw ticking and his body tense.

"I'll kill him."

I turn my face to him my eyes widen slightly.

"Don't," I say to him shaking my head amusedly.

He rolls his eyes at me and starts the car.

Before driving off he nods his head towards the food telling me to eat.

I just shrug and get my food out and begin eating.

I plugged my phone into his aux and put my playlist on.

We drove through the night with ease.

He drove us to an ice cream parlour that was along a sidewalk near the beach.

I smiled happily as I saw lights lit up and people laughing happily.

We got out of the car and walked hand in hand towards the Ice cream shop.

Once we made it my eyes lit up at all the ice cream flavours.

Ice cream is life.

I picked out my flavour and looked to Landon to see what he was getting.

He just stared at them blankly before pointing his finger to the Strawberry flavour.

I burst out laughing and everyone around me looked at me weirdly.
