I don't even know where to start with this, because I am so incredibly proud of Leigh-Anne for speaking up about the topics of both racism and colourism.
As a Mixer, in recent years I have learnt a bit about how Leigh has struggled with being the only black member in the band, but I never really knew just how deeply it affected her.
It is so inspiring to me that she spoke to other black women in the music industry, and even to Jade about her ethnicity. Both racism and colourism are such serious topics and Leigh has covered the issues she faces so well.
The documentary is so inspiring and really has an impact on you. If you haven't already, you can watch it on BBC iPlayer and it's titled 'Leigh-Anne: Race, Pop and Power'.
Words can't express how proud I am of Leigh, her documentary and how she really opened up about her struggles.
And I really hope that it helps to make the world a better place in terms of racism and colourism.
