Jisung was avoiding her.

Hae had no idea why, as far as knew she hadn't done anything to offend or upset him.

It had been two weeks since the team had won nationals and ever since, Jisung seemed to be avoiding her like the plague. If she had tried to say hi to him at school he would either avoid her eyes and speed up or outright turn the other direction. If Hae was at Ora's house, Jisung either locked himself in his room or left the house completely.

She didn't know what the heck his problem was but she missed getting to talk to him.

It was the last week of school and Hae just wanted to get it over with. She tried to push Jisung out of her head so she could focus on finishing.

Hae spotted Park Jisung as she walked into class and sent him a wave, smiling. They had hung out a couple more times in the past weeks and now they were pretty close and really comfortable with each other.

"Hey Pwark," She said, ruffling his hair as she walked passed him, earning her a deep chuckle from him.

She went to her seat behind him and sat down. He turned around in his seat, "Would you want to go to the lake with me later? My friend Mark found this really nice spot where we can swim and hammock if you have one." He was smiling but there was a twinge of nervousness in his face and Hae couldn't figure out why.

"Yeah sure! That sounds like it'll be lots of fun, I can bring my hammock if you want." Hae offered.

Jisung nodded, "I can pick you up at 4? That way you can go home and grab whatever you need. We can stay and watch the sunset too if you like that sort of thing, the sunsets out there are beautiful." He was playing with his rings which Hae had found out meant he was nervous about something.

Her gaze softened, she knew how awkward he could be even if he was comfortable with her, "Ji, that sounds perfect and I can't wait. You don't have to be so nervous." She chuckled, reaching out to squeeze his hand.

His eyes snapped to her hand and he gave it a gentle squeeze back,"Thanks, I don't know why I'm this nervous," He said, reaching back and rubbing the back of his neck.

**Time Skip**

At lunch, Hae found Ora and Mika instantly and gave both of them a hug. "Hey girls," She greeted,"You guys ready for this week to end?"

Mika groaned, "More than anything. I'm so done with school." Both of them murmured in agreement. Mika seemed to think about something before proposing, "Do you guys wanna go to dinner tonight just us three? We haven't had much time to hang out all together recently."

"I can't," Hae sighed,"I already told Jisung I would go to the lake with him this evening."

Ora raised an eyebrow,"My brother finally manned up and asked you out?" She said in slight disbelief.

Hae rolled her eyes,"No, Park Jisung asked me. Your brother has been completely avoiding me for some reason." She tried not to let any hurt seep into her voice but it was hard when she felt like one of the people she loved to be around the most didn't want to be around her.

Mika and Ora's eyes turned sympathetic and Ora mumbled something about 'Seungmin will hear about this'. "I'm sorry he's being such an idiot Hae,' Ora apologized on behalf of her brother,"But also, isn't this like the 5th date you and Park will go on?"

"They're not dates, we're friends who go do stuff with each other." Hae crossed her arms, leaning back in her seat.

"Mhmm I'm sure that's definitely how Jisung sees it too," Mika scoffed, "But anyways, we need to do dinner or a sleepover some other time soon." They all agreed and spent the rest of lunch planning a girls day.
