One Night Stand

Chapter 2

Caroline's POV:
"Maybe I shouldn't have told him." I say looking a bit nervous. "Don't you say that! You did the right thing. It's up to him if he wants to be in his baby's life or not." Davina says making me smile a bit before hearing a knock at the door seconds later.

"I'll get it" Davina says walking to the door and opening it.

Davina's POV:
"Hello Klaus." I say opening the door. "Where's Caroline?" He asks me. "In the bathroom." I say to him. "Can I see her?" He asks. "I don't see why not. Uhm, did your family come with you? Or is it just you?" I ask him a bit nervous.

The last time I saw Kol, it didn't go so well. I know it's stupid of me to ask, but I never stopped loving him. And he's the one that left me, so I know I should forget about him, I just.... can't...

"If you're asking about Kol, yes, he is here." Klaus says making a nervous sigh come out. "Now can I come in?" He asks me and I nod. I move out of the way as he walks in.

Klaus's POV:
I go inside walking to the bathroom but I stop at the doorway. I take a deep breath before knocking on the door. "One sec Davina!" I hear Caroline yell through the door. "It's not Davina, love." I say before the door suddenly opens.

"Klaus?" She says walking from the bathroom. "Hello love" I say with a soft smile. "What-what are you doing here?" She asks me. "I know, I haven't been the best person Caroline, but if you're pregnant with my child, I want to be here. I swear I'm not going anywhere." I say in confidence as I see a slight smile appear on her gorgeous face.

I never did stop loving her, not even when I left with my family to New Orleans. I wanted to take her with me, but I knew she'd never go. But now I have a reason to stay and be with her. And I don't care how long it takes, she will be mine.

"I'm glad to hear you say that, Klaus, but you really don't have to.." she says before I take her hands in mine. "I want to, Caroline." I say smiling down at her before looking down at her flat stomach slowly putting a hand on her belly.

She puts a hand over mine, smiling.

Kol's POV:
"Where do you think you're going brother?" I hear Rebekah say just as I'm about to walk out the door. "None of your business, Bex." I say turning to her making her cross her arms.

"You're going to see Davina, aren't you?" She asks getting to the point making me scoff. "So what if I am?" I ask crossing my arms. "You have put that girl through enough hell. Let her be." She says making me roll my eyes.

"Bug off Rebekah." I say before walking out the door.

I sigh as I begin to walk to Davina's home. I don't even know if she's home. But it's worth a shot, right?

Davina's POV:
I decided to head home to give Klaus some alone time with Care. I may not like him and his family, but at least he wants to be here for the baby.

I was walking back to my house, heading up the door step as I grabbed my key from my purse, I begin unlocking the door when I hear a voice behind me.

"Davina" he says. I instantly freeze up before slowly turning around to see Kol making me drop my keys that were In my hand.

"Don't." I say firmly. After what two years ago, I want nothing to do with him. It's been hard enough trying not to love him. "Please Davina, I just want to talk." He says in a soft tone and I want to give In so damn bad, but I can't.

"I can't do this, Kol. You need to go. Now!" I slightly yell at him. I'm trying so hard to keep my tears in, all I want to do is run in his arms. "Davina just listen—" he starts but I cut him off.

"No!!" I yell before using my magic to throw him back. I quickly grab my keys unlocking the door going inside. I sigh as my back is against the door.

"Everything ok?" Bonnie says coming downstairs. "Yeah, How's Harper?" I ask her. "She's good but tired. I just put her down for a nap." She says making me smile slightly. "Thank you." I say to her.

A few hours later.....

Klaus's POV:
I arrive home from Caroline's house. I spent the day with her. I still can't believe she's having my baby. What if the baby grows up to hate me?

"Nik!" I hear Kol yelling as he walks up to me making me sigh. "What do you want Kol?" I ask him, annoyed. "I went to see Davina." He says making me raise an eyebrow. "I'm sure that went well." I say sarcastically.

"There has to be a way I can talk to her." He says. "Well good luck with that." I say walking away. "Klaus!" I hear Hayley yell in the kitchen making me groan and walk to the kitchen.

"Yes little wolf?" I say to her. "Look, I know I'm the only one who drinks milk in this house, but would it kill you to buy some?!" She snaps at me. "I'll remember that next time I'm out. Now off you go." I say to her.

Living with a pregnant wolf is not fun, but she is carrying my baby and I will love and cherish that child as I will mine and Caroline's child. The only problem is Caroline doesn't know about Hayley and I don't want to tell her.

I don't know how she'll take it and I don't want to risk it. This is my one chance to get Caroline back, and I will win her back.
