Pulling up at her grandmas how's she saw more cars which she recognized as her sisters, brother, cousins, aunts and uncle

"Damn yo grandma still live here" Kyro asked remember the home from when he would visit with nae

"Yea, and she ain't ever leaving" Janae asked mind only on one thing

The bomb ass food she bout to eat

"Damn nae you said we was going to get food not going to a cookout" trey said as they approached the door

"Mcht it's not it's just a lil get together"

( A/N idk about y'all but at random times when my grandma would cook all my grandma kids would pop up so all my aunt uncles and cousins would just be hanging out. It's like something goes off in their head saying to go to my grandmas house)

"Hey grandma" she said hugging her grandma Elise

"Hey baby, I know that ain't Kyro over there" she stated

"Hey ms. Elise" he said chucking

"Boy you know to call me grandma" she said waving him off
"I haven't seen yo ass since summer before y'all high school year"

"Yea I been busy" he said chuckling

"Damn yo ass know the whole family" ky said looking Kyro talk to nae's grandma

"I told y'all we use to be best friends" nae shrugged looking into the pots

"Girl get the hell away from the food it ain't done yet" Elise turned to nae

After talking to the the the family and eating and everyone getting to know each other everyone went there separate ways.

What no one knows is that Kyro and Janae Had exchanged numbers to catch up.

It was now late at night and both of them had just finished their showers and doing their night routine.

Laying down on his bed he was tempted to pick up his phone and call her, but he was scared.

Scared she wouldn't want to talk to him
Scared she no longer felt their connection
Scared she hated him

He was just scared

Deciding to just get over it he called

"Hello" she said in a tired voice

"U-uh hey it's Kyro" he said nervously

"Yea I know" she chuckled she found it cute

"Look you tryna link tomorrow" he said not tryna beat around the bush

"Uh I'm actually busy tomorrow" which she was but at the same time she was excited to know he wanted to see her

"But we could meet up the day after" she said hoping he would say yes
