It was approximately 4:30am in the morning, he had spent way too much time on his nearly overdue essay to the point where he exceeded what he was originally suppose to do. Drained, extremely drained. Like out of this world drained. About to order what seemed like his 4th coffee of the night, he in return got a phone call. The display name lighting up his phone immensely, the brightness bringing stings to his eyes.

Swiping it open he held the phone up to his ear, "Yeah?" his rasped voice called out. Rubbing his eyes slowly he heard shuffling on the other side before the feminine voice came into proximity, "Hey put on a jacket or something I'm outside your apartments, lets get some drinks or something." the semi cheerful voice making him more tired than he originally was.

"At 4:30?" he scoffed sliding back into the chair he had been killing his back in. "Peach Soju?" she offered peaking his interest. "Give me a few." he caved in as he could practically see her smile from her laugh, "It'll be on me so don't even think about bringing any money."

He shrugged and hung up the call without a word, pulling on this salmon coloured hoodie. Assuming that it wasn't that cold outside, he slipped on some shoes and headed down the elevator of the apartment complex. He stared aimlessly at his phone before immerging in the lobby and seeing the female nicely dressed in a way too oversized hoodie.

The female turned to him as he pushed open the glass door. She looked up him up and down before smiling, "Matching me now hm?" she snickered as he realized. "Oh," he muttered realizing how much their outfits were so similar. "Right, so, how many peach sojus do you want?" she looked down on him as he scoffed with a smile. "Yeah."

"Calm down bud, the soju isn't gonna run away." she rested her arm on the back of his chair. The male was currently having his fun with alcohol, by fun I mean he was going through multiple stages of grief mentally while being completely sober. Hindsight he probably shouldn't drink alcohol like it's candy but he couldn't help it, anything to make him happy right?

"Nana chill out." she pulled the bottle away from him like a person to a dog and its ball. He looked saddened at the sudden take away, "But, soju." his eyes still set on the green bottle like his life depended on it.
Shaking her head she ruffled his hair as per usual, "I'll give it to you when I know you can handle yourself correctly." she smiled as he frowned.

He huffed before pouting with big eyes, "Junggg, pleasee." she sighed twisting the cap back onto the bottle and stashing it away. She shook her head as he continued to pout, "Please I promise I won't chug it down like vodka." he said in a smaller voice. The hope for her to give in was slim but he'd have to wish.

"Honey, no, I'll give it to you when I know you can handle it." she stroked his hair carefully as he continued to sulk. Chuckling at his behaviour, she leaned in and planted a soft kiss on his head. "You don't need it to cope honey."
His eyes peeked over his hoodie sleeve to her. The skinship from her was so unreasonably comforting that it made him surprisingly relax? Maybe it was the blinding need for warmth but he was so, in need of her.

Not intending to rely on her like a dog to its owner, he still couldn't control his own mind. The thought of him wanting her was a conflicting war in his head. Did he actually really care? That he didn't know the answer to either. The sound of birds caught him off guard, jolting up at the sound of them.
"Morning I see." she hummed running her fingers through her hair.

Taking a sip of the soju as well the taste made her smile as she planted another kiss on his head. "Come on cutie I'll walk you home." she slid the chair back and stood up, stretching out her stiff limbs. The male still sulked at not receiving the soju back, he stood up cracking his back. A soft yawn emitted from his lips as she chuckled quietly.

She closed her eyes enjoying the silence of the walk as he distracted himself on his phone. The walk felt long and short at the same time. Suddenly disliking the idea of leaving her already, "I'll see you tomorrow bud." she waved at him starting to part ways with him. Clutching his phone tightly in his hand he ran up to her and hugged her catching her off guard.

"Thank you.." he muttered before letting go and running back into the apartment complex. She sighed with a genuine smile as she continued her way home. His heart raced, What the fuck did I just do. he hissed in his mind. Regret and annoyance triggered from his action making him form a horrible mood to walk into the apartment. Running his tongue against the inside of his cheek he practically threw himself onto the couch and just laid there on his back.

The blonde haired grouchily emerged from his room with an empty water bottle in hand. Completely voiding of the other's existence, he poured maybe 4 red bulls into the water bottle and cherry syrup into it. Shaking the water bottle, he turned to the male, "Rough night?" his rasped voice called out to him.
"We been knew Moonpie" he closed his eyes to the empty ceiling.
"For the last time I'm not a fucking moonpie-"

"What's up cutie, had your rest my love?" she smiled leaning on the back of his chair to stair at what he was working on. Being basically squished down because of her weight, he muttered silent profanities. "Why do you keep calling me love.."  he muttered glancing up to her.
She hummed resting her arm on his head, "Because you're my love." she laughed at her own words.

To say the least, his ears were a fine colour of crimson. "Don't you have like assignments or something?" he scoffed scribbling on his assignments as he usually did. She shrugged resting her head on his, "I'm responsible and did them between classes." she stated plainly.
"Those who do that are nerds."
"Those who do that have responsibilities love."
