We were sitting in the doctor's cabin who had called for some reports... as the came she looked at them and then placing her hands on the table looked at as...

Doctor: okay so nandini, i have talked to the doctor in London, and discussing the case we came up with the conclusion that you can walk!

Nandini looked at me with a smile as she held my hand... while i too looked at her but then looking back at doctor asked her...

Me: how? And is there any side effects of it?

The doctor glanced us before she continued speaking....

Doctor: well there are 40 percent chances of her walking again and 60 percent not!

And again nandini's eyes filled up with tears while i gripped her hand tightly which was in her lap...

Doctor: we have to operate it, but there are no side effects, either she could walk or not, nothing will happen to her!

I signed in relief and looked at her who was looking down at our hands.... i again looked at the doctor asking her...

Me: when can we do it?
Doctor: well it takes around 1 month as we have to do the tests, but in nandini's case we cannot do it until her body starts to make the the red blood cells in a normal way!

This time nandini looked at the doctor with me with so many questions on which the doctor told us...

Doctor: we are giving her the blood, but its not enough, her body need to make the blood jist like it did previously, first of all it should have happen, after that we will undergo some tests to see when the surgery can happen, and for that you have to go to London, and that surgery is really expensive!
Me: it doesn't matter! She will be able to walk that what matters the most!

I looked at nandini who was already looking at me... the doctor nodded at us and gave us the file.... we greeting the doctor and walked out... we reached the nurse and then she attached the blood to nandini who laid down on the bed... while i sat beside her holding her hand creasing it while looking at her hand...

Nandini: manik!

She called me... making me look at her and ask her...

Me: kya hua? (What happened?)

She pulled her hand up and kissed the back of my palm before saying...

Nandini: what are you thinking?

I smiled at her and creasing her hair with my other hand spoke...

Me: nothing much, i just hope you get fine, because that is what my jaanu wants! No?

She nodded her head with tears and asked...

Nandini: but what if i won't be able to walk ever?
Me: that won't happen, you will walk, by that time i am there for you, i will pick you up to wherever you want to go!

Saying so i smiled at her who nodded her head with a smile coming to her lips...
