Take All But Not Art
I want to see the magnanimity in the arts that took shape in this world
To be all ears to the greatest of tunes, hymns, and eloquent speeches
To be a soaker of all the pious passion written on earth!
Let me make love to all the creations that are present in this dull life, that are yet to come by
Let me suck all the soul-enchanting charms of it
Take all from me,
my dear Lord
not this inexplicable ocean of mystical pleasure
I want to feel these immeasurable waves of youth, passion, fantasy
till the day I die
Take all but not art, not art, not art!
For I shall cease breathing, desert my heart, lose my soul
and die in the darkness of displeasure
