"Happy birthday, happy birthday to you happy birthday Ashton!" Everyone sang making Ashton laugh and clapped his hands
"I can't believe our baby is three," Shaniyah said with a cute pout
"I know." I laughed leaning in to kiss her "Stop." She giggled with a blush
"We'll continue this later." I laughed walking away to go get some food for myself and Ashton
"What's wrong mama?" I asked when I saw how she was looking at me
"I don't like that girl." She said annoyed
"Ma she's in a better place," I said with a sigh but she just looked at me and we all know that look
"When she leaves again don't come to my house crying." She said walking away to go join the others
"You okay?" Nella asked pouring some Juice "I'll be good, you?"
"Yeah." She smiled and I felt awkward I'd been neglecting our relationship for a while man
"You know I'm always gonna be here I'm your big brother," I said hugging her but she pushed me away before running off
"Babe," Shaniyah called from the table "Yeah?" I asked walking over there
"We're gonna cut the cake." She said with a smile
"You ready buddy?" I asked holding Ashton In my arms and he just laughed
"Yeah." He whispered
"Okay hold onto my hand poppa," I said putting his hand on the knife, sliding it down cutting a piece
"I play?" He asked and I nodded putting him down and watching him go run off

"Dam papa, you a rare bread, no comparing And it's Motherfuckin' scary." Shaniyah sang while she shared out some grapes before she sat back on the bed where Jade slept, his grandmother offered to keep Ashton and a few of his friends for the night And the teen parents didn't deny her offer
"Tryna keep him 'cause I found, Let a hoe know I ain't motherfuckin' sharing" she sang lowly and Jade woke up with a chuckle
"Singing bout lil old me?" He asked making her playfully roll her eyes
"Shut up." She mumbled "Nah keep going where were you?" He went on
"Shut your mouth." She laughed kissing him and he pulled her smaller body on top of him Deepening the kiss
"Mmh." She moaned pulling off her top "You so fine baby." He said looking up and down at her slim but also curved body
"Really?" "Yeah, every inch of you is beautiful." He whispered placing kisses on her neck
"Well, you're handsome too." She said "Thank you, baby."
"I haven't gotten my period yet." She said with a fake frown making Jade curse
"What do you mean?" He asked upset shaniyah was trying but she was barely able to take care of Ashton they didn't need another child
"You don't have to say it like." She said getting upset by his reaction
"We're aren't ready for another baby Niyah." "You want me to get an abortion?"
"If that's what needs to happen then yeah." He said trying to spare her feelings but she kissed her teeth pushing herself off him
"Whatever Jade." She snapped not understanding why he wouldn't want a second child yes she didn't need or want another baby but Jade wouldn't be able to leave her once she had two of his kids
"How long?" "Well if I am pregnant I should be a few weeks." She mumbled the baby could also possibly be Keon's but she wasn't going to tell him
"Is it even mine?" "Yes." She said pretending to be upset with his questions and he pretended to feel bad
"Well, what you wanna do?" "I want to keep it."
"Alright." He didn't want nor was he ready for another child but he would never abandon his child
The next day
"So you're pregnant?" Dejah asked
"Yeah, I'm hoping it's a girl." Shaniyah went on making Dejah look up at her confused
"I'm not saying you can't be happy but you are eighteen with one child already and a toxic relationship." She didn't judge shaniyah because she was a young mother she judged her because she was a bad mother
"Well jades got it covered and I'm happy so just be happy for me this once." She said with a pout making Dejah sigh
"Fine." She agreed reluctantly but what else could she do? It was Shaniyah's body she couldn't force her to get an abortion
𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐡 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬 A few months later
"Jade doesn't mind you smoking whilst pregnant?" Laya asked but handed me the blunt anyways
"It's fine," I mumbled
"You are much smaller than last time." She pointed out looking down at my barely noticeable bump
"That's why I think it's a girl." "Mmh." She hummed
"I'm kinda nervous I've been having bad cramps and sometimes I can't even get out of bed," I mentioned
"Have you gone, doctors?"
"Yeah, but they said that it was normal." "Try not to worry too much."
"Are you pregnant?" She asked and it looked like she's been wanting to ask that for awhile
"Why would you ask that?" I snapped upset by her stupid questions
"What I'm just asking, is you've barely shown any signs of being pregnant and your stomach is even flatter than it was when you weren't pregnant." She said
"Bitch get out of my house!" "Why are you so upset, is it because you're lying?"
"Get out of my house," I said looking away from her and she just kissed her teeth before leaving
