Hannah.........

Sitting at the balcony of my room, all the memories came flooding. I just couldn't figure out where I went wrong. What I did to have deserved such punishment. It's like we've never been a thing. Just like that!!My phone ringing brought me back to life. I giggled like a little girl when I saw the name on the screen. My best friend. I answered placing the phone to my ear.

" What up bitch". I screamed into the phone.

" Well, don't damage my ears young lady. As you can see, I'm only a month married". She said laughing.

" Yeah. Thought you're only two weeks. You idiot, you said you'd be out of my reach for only two weeks. But thanks to your enjoyment, this is a month". I said sulking.

" Oh baby. I'm so sorry. I know you missed me. That's why I'm calling now but guess what. I am only like twenty feet away from you now". She said chuckling and it took me some seconds before it registered in my mind. I got on my feet sliding the door opened and there she was standing by my bedside.

" Oh my God.... What!!!! Girl... How?". I couldn't understand the words coming out of my mouth. So I just ran to her and hugged her so tight like she would disappear if I let go.

" You know I'm human right and human beings got to breathe. Some seconds won't hurt I guess". She said in between breathe making me laughed hard.

" What a surprise girl. When did you get back?". I asked looking at her.

" Well, you know me and surprises. Our plane landed in the morning. So, we went straight home to take a nap and here I am, your best standing in front of you". She said drawing me into her arms. I missed her so much.

" Hope you bring my gift?".

" Of course mamacita. Why else will I forget. That reminds me. It's been a month now. So let's catch up on what I missed. I know you have a lot to tell me". She said dipping in the bedside. I sat beside her thinking of where to start from.
