14. My Treat

"Well I'm glad and I do try, so I have finished here now, scooter said I can go so she'll we go and say our goodbyes and then make our way back to my apartment for that lunch that I promised you as a treat? I think you deserve it" he said while smiling at me.

"Yeah I think that's a good idea" I said while smiling back at him.

We had finally arrived at Justin's apartment that he was currently renting out and I suddenly felt some much needed relief wash over me.

As he opened the door to let me in, I couldn't believe my eyes, it was so beautiful. I can definitely see myself staying here and being quite comfortable with that fact.

As you walk in, you automatically walk into the living room space which has a kind of warm, boho, modern style to the room. It also has brown, armless sofas in a L shape situated around a pumpkin coloured ordainment/coffee table. There was a lot of glass around too. Mainly surrounding the whole apartment as windows. The windows also came with creamy white curtains that were long enough to go from the ceiling to the floor.

There was a tiny dark wood side table on one of the sides of the sofa and on the opposite side, facing towards the sofa was some wooden dining chairs with the cushioned bit you sit on being the same colour as the curtains.

It also had a silver metal lamp shade over the light on the ceiling and the same white cream in the big rug with a simple brown pattern on it, laying on a almost red wood flooring boards on the floor.

There were other parts of the room along with other pieces of furniture but I was struggling to take it all in. A life of celebrity is completely brand new to me and I'm not used to all this fancy and luxurious stuff or way of living.

"She'll I show you around?" Justin spoke all of a sudden, taking me out of my day dream. He must of caught site of my trance that I was in all of a sudden all because of the lovely room that surrounded me.

All I could do was to nod and follow close behind Justin while making sure I didn't miss and key points of the certain room that I would be in and being shown by Justin.

He first showed me the kitchen which was quite simple. It was mainly white, clean and spacious. With white walls and ceiling to match the furniture. It had the same kind of wooden floor boards as there was in the living space too. It was surrounded by glass windows again with a couple of minimalistic pictures on couple of the walls between the windows. And on one of the sides of the room, it had white counters with a silver metal fridge with white bar stools to match with a couple of silver appliances too to tie in with the colour scheme of the room and on the other side was a little seating area with a couple of grey sofas with a glass coffee table in the middle of the both sofas which was all placed on a beige brown rug. The seating area looked out facing the window that looked onto the city of London itself.

Then the last room that Justin showed me was the bedroom he was currently sleeping in. The bedroom was a bit different from the rest. The colour scheme was mainly brown and beiges. The bed was this grand king size bed, probably enough room for 4 people instead of 2. It had what I thought to be a snake skin type pattern head board that went from the floor to the ceiling which made the bed and the rest of the room even more grand. It had white sheets with a brown throw over the bottom of the bed. It had two black side tables on each side of the bed, both with lamps sitting on the side. The room also had another seating area with a brown fabricated sofa and chair and a simple modern dark wood coffee table to match the rest of the room. The room had white walls with a white ceiling to match and the floor was covered with a beige coloured carpet. The windows also had big long brown curtains with an even darker brown pattern on them.

Once my tour of Justin's apartment was over we made our way back to the same sitting room where we started our tour just a short while ago. "She'll we take a seat on the sofa so I can order us some food?" Justin asked me. "Yeah that sounds good, what she'll we have?" I commented back. "I was thinking maybe Thai or Mexican food but I don't mind, it's up to you?" "I think Thai food sounds good enough" I said as I sneaked a little chuckle in.

It was about an hour later and our food had arrived and we were still in the living room while eating and in a middle of a conversation about how we thought the interview went earlier on in the day.

"You didn't tell me you was hoping to go on tour towards the end of the year" I said while smiling to indicate that I was only teasing him but at the same time to show him that it was a serious question too that I wanted to know the answer to.

"Well yeah, I wanted to tell you but as there's still lots of planning to do and we are not sure that it's definitely going to happen at all yet anyway alone whether it's going to happen at the end of the year or not so I didn't want to worry you or get your hopes up because of it".

"Oh right well yeah I can underst........" just as I was about to finish my sentence about understanding why Justin didn't want to tell me about his tour that he could be doing towards the end of a year, I all of a sudden got a text. It was from Penelope.

"Who's that" Justin asked me. "Oh just Penelope" I replied.

Justin knew about Penelope and he knew she was my best friend. I also told him that we're so close that we also think of our selfs as sisters just with different parents. Justin laughed out loud to that and even to this day I don't know what he found too funny. He also knew that I keep in touch with her often and tell her more and less everything so it wasn't a big surprise to him when I told him that it was her who had texted me.

I usually get a smile knowing my best friend had texted me and this time was no different apart from this time, that smile didn't last too long once I actually read her message that she sent me.

Penelope: Hey, have you read this news article yet? If not I think you should and I think Justin should too. All I can say Lil is that I'm so sorry, I knew how much your wasn't ready yet. Xx

I had no words, what was she on about, Justin didn't kind either after I showed him the text. He was just as clueless than me. So all I could do in that moment was to click the link she sent me and go to the news article myself to see what it said and to see what Penelope was talking about.

Once I did, I was totally stunned. I had no words. I just started to get suddenly really nervous and hot. I also started to breath funny. I nearly dropped my phone on the floor till Justin caught it and put it on the coffee table. I think I was having a panic attack.
