The next day Spencer rode with Ashlynn for moral support.
"Hey B. Barnes you got company." Logan yelled as he rolled up some hoses.
Bucky came outside to see her coming up with parking lot with Spencer.
"Whose the hottie?" Hartley said
"Hartley.." Bucky whispered
"Hey.." he said
"Hey..um can we talk?" She said
"Yeah sure. Hartley behave that is her room mate Spencer." He said as he sipped his coffee.
She followed Bucky inside they went upstairs.
"Oh wow..I just thought that was only in movies." She said when she saw all the beds.
"No." He said as he sat on one and put his coffee on the table.
"Come here and sit down." He said
"I rather stand." She said
She bit her lip as she played with her zipper. He took her hands and pulled her into his lap.
"I'm sorry I snapped at you." He whispered as he caressed her cheek.
"Don't be. I'm sorry for how I acted. I will let you take the lead and do my best to keep myself in check." She said as she looked down.
"Hey hey look at me. It's not that I don't want to Ash. But you aren't the only one in this with me. I have to think about Evie too. I lost my wife two years ago and it scares me that I'm moving on with someone new. I was suppose to grow old with Sarah. This isn't how I pictured my life starting over like this. But this is who I am, you Sarah and Yelena are the only three girls that I have actually dated. I'm not one for sleeping around for fun." He said
She looked down.
He lifted her chin. "And I may not know the story behind this gorgeous big brown eyes baby. But I hope one day when you are ready you will tell me. Tell me who hurt you and who made you believe what you shouted at me." He said as he wiped her tears.
He kissed her she gently kissed back. They rested their foreheads together. "I've missed you." He whispered
She smiled. "We should go downstairs before Hartley annoys Spencer." He said
When they walked downstairs they found Hartley and Spencer making out against one of the trucks.
"Hartley!" Bucky said
They both wiped their mouths.
Bucky kissed Ashlynn. "Come by the house later." He said as the bell went off.
That night she came by the house with a strawberry cake. She Evie and Bucky shared the cake along with pizza. After Evie went down for the night they were laying in the theatre room.
