"Hey, hey, hey.." He murmured, taking my weight when my body seemed to give in. "Shhh. Don't apologize, it's not your fault." He ran his hand through my ginger hair, making my body feel weak. I hoped that didn't transfer into Iggy's mind, although if it did, he didn't seem to react. "I didn't... I didn't want to yell at Max." I whispered, finding control again. "I didn't want to... I just... I wanted to give Gazzy something.." I tried to support my weight, but collapsed against the older male again. "Shhh." He demanded simply and softly. I couldn't really see, but I knew I had done some serious damage to the car. I wondered if Iggy knew that too. He couldn't see it, only hear it.

I felt someone come up behind me, Fang. He gently put his hand in between my shoulder blades, making me tilt my head away from Iggy to see him. His eyes were full of concern as he lightly pulled my hand from the milky blue-eyed boy's waist. Only then, when seeing the injuries I had caused on my fists, did I feel the searing pain fly through my over-sensitive nerves. "Holy shit." I hissed in pain, reflexively burying my head against Iggy's chest. "That hurts. Fuck." I mentally cursed myself. My hands had just healed from the God damn tree incident. Maybe that should've been a hint that something was wrong with me. Maybe all the aggressive anger in my life should've been.

"Other one's worse," Fang responded, like I needed a reminder. "Pretty sure I watched that one break." Oh. Well then. I heard Max walk reluctantly up behind us, but I refused to move my head from Iggy's chest. "That looks sore." Angel said quietly. "I mean, it would be," Gazzy responded. "The girl just basically beat a car until it was flat and then flipped it." He seemed impressed. He shouldn't be. I'm a monster.

"I.." My words refused to come out. "I have t...two times as many nerves as a normal human. Twice as many as that in certain areas." I gasped when Fang ran his fingertips over a painful area. "And you never mentioned this because?" Max asked, speaking for the first time. "W...When was there a need?" I lost my balance, feeling Iggy's arms tighten around me to hold me upright. "I'm sorry Max." I whispered. "I'm sorry too." She responded, continuing "But please just stop bringing the kids out like that. It's dangerous." She wouldn't back down from her decision. Neither would I. "You wish." I mumbled, rolling my eyes. "I'm going to stop leaving you on your own with them." She grumbled, but joined Fang in checking out my left hand. My right arm stayed wrapped around Iggy's waist, using him to hold myself up more than I cared to admit.

I zoned out after that, my thoughts running wild and loose in my brain. I couldn't tell you what I was thinking if I tried, I guess Iggy was right about the whole tornado thing, just not all the time. Sometimes I could hear them all at once, sometimes one at a time but extremely fast. I knew it wasn't normal, but I couldn't change it, so why should I bother trying? It was just a genetic fuck up. Maybe I wasn't as successful as the School thought. Maybe I failed like the rest of their attempts. I knew my flock was talking around me, but I didn't actually know what they were saying. I was shivering, but I didn't feel very cold.

"It's most likely shock," Iggy whispered, and I wasn't sure if he was still in my mind or was just informing me at a strange time. "The shaking, I mean. You just lost control and smashed a car. It could be that your body and brain are in shock from it." If you're in my head, please tell me. I thought.

"We're going to get you somewhere to sit and sort out your hands." He continued, clearly not hearing me or not mentioning it if he was. "Then we might take off early, there's bound to be reports of the little stunt you just pulled. We haven't run into Erasers yet, but hearing that might tip them off." He gently ran his large hands up and down my spine, and I was quite grateful for the shivering I was already experiencing at that moment.
