8. Second Thought Nerves

Justin: Wow I have been waiting for this day! Are you really ready to meet up? And of course I'm ready, I'm more than ready! Xx

Lilly: Yeah I think so, even though I'm not going to lie, I am very nervous about the whole thing but I do want to take this next step. I do want to meet you properly in person. Xx

Justin: Good I'm glad well when are you thinking about? And do you want to do anything in particular? Xx

Lilly: Wherever your free. Let's face it, your the one with the busy schedule haha. And no, I don't mind, why don't you surprise me? Xx

Justin: Ok well it's Thursday now, are you free this Saturday? And ok I can do, leave it with me.🤔😏☺️ xx

Lilly: Yeah I believe I am and ok I will and won't is it for some reason I'm not like that second emoji, just think of something casual and private, I'm not ready for any publicity yet if that's ok? Xx

Justin: Yeah that sounds good. Like I said leave it with me. Trust me! She'll I pick you up at about 11 on Saturday morning then? Xx

Lilly: Ok and yeah I do trust you, you haven't gave me a reason not too yet and yeah that's sounds good. I will be ready for then. Wait there you know where I live? Xx

Justin: Good and of course I do, how else do you think I sent them roses? Xx

Lilly I don't know haha, I have really gave it much thought up till now but I know it don't scare me. How did you get it? Xx

Justin: Oh I have my ways babe don't worry about that! Xx

Lilly: Oh ok then haha, I'm not sure how I feel about that! Xx

Justin: Well it's nothing to worry about just concentrate on that fact that we're seeing each other in only a few days on Saturday. I can't wait! Xx

Little does he know that was all I that I could concentrate on.

Oh god, I didn't think that it was only a couple of days away. That don't leave me with much time to take it all in and get my self ready. But then again I think in a way that could be a good thing as then that means it won't give myself too much time to worry about it or to over think it or even to have second thoughts about it all.

Lilly: Yeah me too!

It was a few hours later and I was starting to panic, I mean I wasn't even ready or prepared. I didn't even have anything to wear. I need Penelope.

I grabbed my phone while shaking and clicked straight on her contact to ring her and put it to my ear then relaxed slightly when after a few rings, I heard her chirpy voice on the other end.

Penelope: "Hey hun, how are you?"

Lilly: "I'm good thanks" I said in a panic. "But I'm not calling for general chit chat I'm afraid I really need your help, I'm panicking here, can you come round to mine now? Are you free? Sorry to just call you out of the blue but I really need you now, it's important?"

Penelope: "Calm down Lil. Of course I will come but before I do, can you at least tell me what this is all about?"

Lilly: "Oh yeah sorry, well I will tell you more when you get here but I was just texting Justin and we are finally meeting up on Saturday and I'm not prepared and I don't even have anything to wear?"

Obviously being my best friend, I have been keeping Penelope up to date on everything just like I promised her at lunch just a week before so it was no surprise to her that I was still in contact with Justin and also probably no surprise to her that we have now made plans to meet up. Just thank god my mum and sister was at work as they still don't know nothing about Justin. I haven't yet talked to them about it. I don't know why I haven't as especially my mum wouldn't judge me or anything, they probably would be proud for me. I usually tell my mum everything apart from this, I think I was just scared too just in case things didn't work out then it wouldn't be worth telling her necessarily in my opinion. And even though my mums reaction I think would be good, in my mind she could always surprise me with a bad one.

Penelope: "Ok take some deep breaths, I'm on my way! Will you be ok till then?"

Lilly: "Yeah I think so!"

Penelope: "Good, give me about 10 minutes and I will be with you"

Lilly: Ok thanks Pen, means a lot! Hurry!"

And with that the line went dead and all I have to do now is wait. Them 10 minutes ended up feeling like 10 years but I finally heard that long anticipated knock on my front door. The wait was over.
