Smilling, she thinks back to a guy who she had tried to help. This guy wasn't liked by many, and she didn't particularly fancy him either, but she saw that he needed help, and she really wanted to help him.
Everytime she saw his fake smiles she felt deep sympathy for him. He smiled when being bullied; laughed it off when someone pushed him. She had enough of all this behaviour, so she tried to approach him, carefully. But he just pushed her away. She tried so hard to help him. She wanted him to know that he wasn't alone.
But some people I guess just don't want your help- no matter how much they need it.

... yeah, some people genuinly don't want ur help as hard as u try. not giving up on them is the best way to show u care for them. i don't mean like getting up all in their bussiness, especially if they feel uncomfortable, just being there and texting a quick "hey, u okay?" could actually help someone.
