Hurt, pain and agony. She remembers it all too well. Since the day her entire life turned upside down, to the day she could breathe again. Hurt, pain and agony had all found their way into her life.
There were times when she was younger that she wondered if it was all really worth it. All the effort she'd gone through for the other person. Was it really worth hurting herself, her pride and dignity. Having that person around destroyed her life and she knew that, yet didn't want to admit it.
When others would say nasty things about the person, she would defend them saying "oh maybe she just didn't know" "Oh he's not usually like that." The excuses kept on coming and never really did stop.
She realized that she wasn't doing it for herself anymore, she was truly doing it for the people who had hurt her.
She was living her life for others and surviving by a thread.
Living every day in the past, just like she always had.
Could you even really call that living at all?
