i couldn't say i like you.

i wish it was that easy,

but i was so in love with you.

i said i love you without a warning.

why was it that shocking to you?

you blinked blankly,

say something. i put my heart in front of you.

was i going to apologize for even having feelings for you?

yes, i was just that fool.

so i cried some more and said i was sorry,

you being an angel ran your fingers through my hair,

i kept crying like a baby about everything, 

you being gone, you leaving me that way, you kissing somebody and me confessing.

and you didn't say a word.

after i was done you had a smile again,

not the candy one,

but a small, sad, desperate smile.
