'THUD!'. Annabeth and Percy were dropped inside their mansion. Hecate failed to mention to them that they'd get dropped from 12 feet (3.6 meters) in the air, and they weren't too happy about it.

"Ouch," Percy grumbled.

Annabeth rolled her eyes at him. Both of them stood up and immediately noticed a change. Annabeth felt a buzzing beneath her skin. Almost like there was something powerful underneath it. She also felt her mind sharpen. It was a strange feeling. It felt as if some fog she didn't even know existed cleared up.

She went outside of the room they were in to check out the window. She saw a person with spiky blond hair walk by angrily, looking in awe and shock when he passed their huge house.

Annabeth tried to tap into her analysis quirk to see who this boy was. She imagined the angry blond boy was a file that she could open. It didn't work, so Annabeth just focused on what she wanted to know about him. That worked, and she found out that she instantly could access lots of information about him. She looked at his name, quirk, strengths, and weaknesses. She also saw a bit of his past.

This kid was Katsuki Bakugou, the one who bullied Izuku Midoriya. Annabeth instantly hated him. As a demigod, people tended to bully her for her ADHD and dyslexia, things she could never control. Quirklessness was in the categories of uncontrollable things, so it made Annabeth's blood boil seeing how much he emotionally, mentally, and sometimes physically abused Izuku.

Percy stared at Annabeth as she quietly mumbled incoherently. It was adorable, and Percy loved how his girlfriend would ramble about topics like this. He could listen to her voice for days on end.

With his new powers Percy felt more connected to them compared to his pre-existing one. Instead of feeling like he was using an outside source that he could not control, it now felt like a part of him (A/N: Just saying that for the purposes of the story). He felt a lot more connected to his new power. He also felt energy buzzing through him, and somehow he knew that if he tried hard enough, he could sense most living things due to their water.

He joined Annabeth as she was staring out the window. He looked at the spiky haired blond kid who she was staring at.

"He isn't competition, is he?" He joked.

Still looking at the blond kid, she turned to him with rage in her eyes. Annabeth answered. "He's the farthest thing from it, he's Katsuki Bakugou, the guy who abused and bullied Izuku Midoriya because of his quirklessness."

Percy's easygoing smile dropped instantly. Bullying was horrible, he knew since he was a target once. Nancy... Just the thought of her made Percy disgusted. Especially after what happened at Goode High last year...

Oops. Percy realized that he had been in an ADHD thought train for a bit too long, so he said, "Oh...man that's horrible. Wait, did you find out using your quirk? How is it? Do you feel the buzzing beneath your skin as well?"

The only thing that seemed to let Annabeth keep up with his rapid fire questions was her ADHD. "Yeah I used my quirk and I love it! It'd be great for when we go back, we can find out the weaknesses of all sorts of monsters! And yeah, I feel it too, I'm quite certain it's our quirk energy. It feels weird but nice at the same time."

Percy loved how happy she was about this quest. They usually hated them, but perhaps this one would be different.

"I have an idea," Annabeth suddenly stated. "How about we spend this week trying to get used to our quirks, and then the next ten months training them and ourselves?"

Percy was confused, as always. "That's a good idea but how do you know the UA test is in ten months?"

Annabeth looked confused for a second. "I- I don't know!? It just came to me. Maybe the intelligence quirk is permanently activated. I just deduced the current month from the flora, sky, temperature, and humidity. And since most Japanese schools start at the same time, it will be in ten months. School is currently ongoing but we don't need to go since it's already on the record Hecate gave us and I think we know at least a little bit of eighth grade math."
