Guessing by his relationship with his cousin and uncle, she assumed it wasn't that much different with his parents.

She snapped back to reality, and widened her eyes when he began to take his shirt off. Her face flushed a bright red when she saw his exposed chest. Lord Nathaniel then began to slide out of his trousers and all that remained was his drawers. She quickly glanced away, unsure of what to say. When she heard a loud splash, she glanced back to see him swimming in the clear water.

She cleared her throat feeling embarrassed. Of course, he was undressing so he could swim in the water.

He swam towards the falling water and carried himself up to a nearby rock where he sat. She watched from afar, earlier in the morning she had only caught a glimpse of his muscular chest for a second or two but now that he was sat out in the daylight she could see him more clearly without the mist from before.

She hadn't noticed it before, but he had a few scars scattered across his chest and back. Now that she had thought about it, a few was an understatement, there was a myriad of them. The girl wanted to know why he had so many and was curious about the story behind each one, guessing they were probably battle scars.

She walked and sat at the edge, her bare feet in the water as she had taken her shoes off earlier. He had jumped back into the water, looking at her with a smirk.

"Are you going to join me or are you just going to stare at me again?"

"I-I didn't bring a bathing suit." She replied meekly.

"You can swim in your undergarments."

She wasn't completely against his suggestion, after all, underneath her dress, she was wearing a loose chemise that wouldn't be too revealing. When he had his back turned, she took the opportunity to quickly unzip and slip out of her dress. The chemise was white, and although it wasn't exactly appropriate for water the fabric was thick so it wouldn't become see-through from the water.

She waded in the water and stopped when it reached just below her neck. The water was cool, and she couldn't help but close her eyes as her face glowed underneath the sunlight. The girl gasped, feeling a pair of arms wrap around her torso from behind.

"Does anybody else know about this place?"

"No, just me and now you, but I trust you not to tell anyone." He said as rested his chin above her head.

She was happy hearing this, it only proved how special she was to him if she was the only one he had ever brought here. As she watched the glimmering water, an idea popped up in her head.

Quickly spinning around to face him, she pushed her hand under the water creating a splash. He closed his eyes as the drops of water struck his face, staring at her with utter shock afterwards. She let out a chuckle, finding his reaction humorous. Hearing her laugh he couldn't help but smile, thinking how beautiful her laugh sounded; fitting well with her smile.

With her guard down he quickly splashed her back, but to his surprise, her laughing had stopped. Her lips curled into a frown, and she hid her gaze away from him as she buried her face in her hands.

"Shit." He cursed under his breath. "Are you hurt?"

He was afraid that maybe he had splashed her too hard, which resulted in him hurting her. He was angry at himself, realising he should've been more careful considering she was human. When she didn't respond to his question, he moved closer to her and placed his hand on her back.

"I'm sorry I did-"

Before he could finish his sentence she used both of her hands to push the water with as much force resulting in a large splash that left his hair drench. Once again, she was giggling seeing his reaction. She didn't think her plan would work so well.
