"That's the story of your grandma's sister and her wife Wendy. They died together in a car accident and you were born 7 years after they died" My mom told me the story of Bae Joohyun. My grandmother's name was Bae Suzy and I also never got to meet her, but all I know is I was named after Bae Joohyun, my other grandma.

Mom never told me the name of Bae Joohyun's lover before and I don't intend to know. I was only going to get hurt. Grandma Joohyun never loved grandma Wendy fully and I think that's wrong.

"Why did she not go and marry the person she truly loves?"

"It was all in the wrong timing. You know, your grandma Joohyun is a kind woman. She loved Aunt Wendy too, but Aunt Wendy knew she was never going to fill the gap in Aunt Joohyun's heart ever, and that's where Aunt Joohyun was wrong. That's why your grandma Suzy let me marry your dad even though she didn't like him at first, because she didn't want me to end up like her sister" My mom further told me while she was driving me to school. It was the first day of second year and I'm going to meet Jennie and the others at school.

"Why did you name me after Grandma Joohyun then? I don't want to bring her mistakes with me" I was pissed off because of it. I didn't want this, because it'll just remind me of a love that was never fully there, because it was a love that only a person could fulfill but grandma Joohyun did not marry that person.

That might explain why she never felt complete her whole life.

Atleast that was what my mom told me.

"You won't carry her mistakes, okay? It's just a name so don't think about it too much" She said to me and smiled as we pulled over at the school parking lot. "There's your friends over there" I looked out the window and saw Joy and Jennie standing there, looking around, waiting for me.

"I'll go now mom...dad" I said and bid my goodbyes to them.

"Goodluck on your first day kiddo, enjoy but don't grow up too fast" Dad said as he flashed me his perfectly white teeth and I rolled my eyes as I laughed at his antics.

Jennie's eyes widened when she saw me and immediately gave me a hug. This whole summer she went to New Zealand for some family gatherings and stuff like that, so we weren't able to hang out for almost two months.

"Girl, I missed you! I've got a lot of stories for you!" She said as we entered the halls of the school. I looked around and saw many familiar faces from last year.

Actually one very familiar face was approaching us right now.

Lalisa.

Jennie's suitor.

The one that she pretends not to like but she'e actually had a crush on the tall black-haired girl since middle school.

"Look" I said as smirked. Joy nudged Jennie's side.

"Hi Jennie"

"Hey" Jennie said and kept on walking pretending to ignore Lisa. Joy and I were just laughing at her.

"Uhm, can I sit with you at lunch later? My friend's a transferee and she could use some new friends too, but she's kind of shy" Lisa said and I pulled Jennie away before nodding.

"Of course! We'd love that!" I said. Lisa laughed and shook her head.

"Cool then! I'll see you girls later..." Lisa was about to leave but then she turned around again. "...Uhh Jennie, you look extra beautiful today" The tall Thai winked and ran off to her friends who were chitchatting.

They had another person in the group that seemed to be new to the school. She was probably the transferee that Lisa was talking about, but I couldn't really see her face because she was wearing a cap.
