when they realized they loved you

it kind of just happened. one day it hit him that he felt like you were more than the other people he had slept with and it hit him that you were more than just friends with benefits. he didn't know what he was feeling, or what to make of it. so not only did he not know what he was feeling, but he didn't know if you felt the same. it made him feel strange, anxious and conflicted. he didn't like it but he loved it at the same time. 

how protective are they of you?

finds it legitimately funny when someone flirts with you, but is also EXTREMELY anxious about losing you to another man. he will make sure to be much more affectionate if someone else flirts with you and you show the slightest amount of interest. 

in battle he isnt as protective, and doesn't worry much. he knows you can handle yourself. he will get worried though, and his heart skips a beat every time he watches you fall unconscious. if he thinks your life is in any real danger he will be at your side, but other than that, expect to be mostly alone in battle.
