a: i'm so tired.
annie says while laying on her bed.
j: me too.
i say laying next to her.
she turns and looked at me.
j: i had so much fun.
i say smiling.
a: did you?
j: yeah, i wish i could do stuff like this all the time.

i genuinely did have a good time, my family is close, but we don't usually do things like this.
a: it's every tuesday, come by when you can. bring your sisters too or when you don't want to be home you can chill over here. we're always doing something, or you can just chill in my room by yourself. i definitely understand the need of personal space.
j: really?
i say genuinely curious.
a: yeah, we love everyone over here.

she said smiling.
it was cute.
j: would that make us friends?
a: mhm not quite.
she laughs.
j: you're a lot different then how you act in school.
a: yeah, sorry about that you just got to be patient with me.
she says.
j: no no, i just thought you hated me.
a: don't get me wrong i'm not too fond of you johnny.
she says laughing.
her laugh is cute.
j: you have a bad sense of humor.
i say while laughing.
j: well i should get going, it's a long walk.
her head shot up.
a: walk?
she said sternly.

j: yeah, no license.
a: i've seen you drive before.
j: doesn't make the license appear.
i say smirking, but she didn't find it amusing.
a: i'm not letting you walk home, it's late and not safe.
j: i'm a guy julianna grace.
a: anyone can be a victim.
she says serious and sternly while putting on a sweatshirt and sweatpants over her shorts and t-shirt.
and throws me a hoodie.
a: it's cold outside.

j: are we back to bossy annie.
a: yeah.
she rolls her eyes and grabs her keys.
j: how do you have your license so early.
a: i'm from maryland, the driving age is different over there.
she says explaining.
j: i didn't know you were from maryland? why'd you come here.
a: yeah i am, my parents just got a new job.
she says short and straight to the point.
a: so where do you live?
she says abruptly and changing the subject.
which was kind of strange.
j: by the school
i say walking to her car.

we got in and she started her car.
a: address?
she asked and i gave it to her.
a: why don't you get your drivers license.
she says pulling out of her driveway.
j: i prefer to drive without one.
a: that doesn't make any sense.
j: i just don't like following the rules leblanc.
a: the law?
j: nope life is already hard enough i just want to have fun and not be controlled.
i say shrugging my shoulders.

a: what's your type of fun?
j: maybe i should take you on a trip.
a: i don't know.
j: cmon it'd be fun, no criminal behavior.
i say smirking.
a: you promise?
j: promise.
a: fine then.
j: hanging out again, it staring to make me think you like me.
a: i don't but adventure sounds fun.
she says pulling up in front of my house.
i start to take off her hoodie.
a: no keep it, tit for tat.
j: thanks for the ride.
i say opening the door.
a: wait, how are you getting to school tomorrow.

j: haven't thought that far ahead.
a: i'll pick you up.
she says sincere.
j: seems like you care about me julianna grace, you're really tricking me.
i say sarcastically.
a: i care about people and their feelings and i hope they'd care about mine.
her saying that made me feel bad.
considering i'm using her.

a: i'll take you and your sister, i'll be here at 7:15.
j: you don't have-
a: i want to!
she says cutting me off.
a: and i want you both to be safe.
she does have a genuine and kind heart.
j: okay.
i say giving in and not arguing with her.
a: i'll see you tomorrow then.
j: yes you will.
