'The moon Phoenix' -book one: water

Chapter 1: sun warrior tribe

                                                                    -ālyss-

I woke up feeling the sun slowly rise. I looked up only to be met by caxida'li near me "mowning bigth sistew" she'd say 

I smiled ruffling her hair " good morning, go wait for me outside" I said "oki!" She'd reply walking outside. I stood up fixing my hair and placing it in a ponytail, I walked outside seeing my mother and father "morning mother, morning father" I'd say 

My mother looked up at me and smiled "morning dear" she'd say with a smile, I smiled back. Father was doing something with the fire with caxi watching, I looked at my mom smiling.

"Mother can I show you my water bending?" I asked gesturing at a basin of water beside me "of course you can" she'd reply, I nodded and took out a small knife and cut my palm so my blood dripped.

I used my blood bending to stop the blood from flowing and healed the cut using the water. After a minute my hand was healed "that's really good" father said looking up at me "thanks dad!" I'd reply.

Suddenly uncle Ham ghao rushed towards us "the masters are calling you ālyss" he said, I looked at him before dashing to where the platform were only to find the masters were very imbalanced, 'I wonder what's wrong...' I thought walking up to the platform.

I bowed whilst ran gave me a vision 

A fire navy ship arrived at the southern pole

A kid appeared from an ice berg

A boy was getting burned by ozai 

The same boy was on the ship trying to capture the kid

I gasped looking up at the ran and Shaw "what am I supposed to do..?" I asked slowly before Shaw touched me 'you must find the avatar and guide him'.

I was shocked to say the least but I bowed "if I must.." I said before walking down the platform, the masters returned to their cave 

Chief Tozic looked at me "what did they ask you to do?" He asked "I must guide the avatar.." I replied looking at the ground caxi looked at me "does thath mean bigth sistew gonna leave?" She asked tilting her head

I nodded and her expression turned sad "don't worry I might come back" I said ruffling her hair, I sighed looking up to mother and father "I must pack now.." I said slowly 

"Alright you will leave in the afternoon" father said while I just nodded "alright..." I said fidgeting with my hands and summoning a small flame on my palm 

Water and fire are just like the sun and moon, they are like yin yang, water can stop a fire and fire can evaporate water, I looked up to the sky smiling 'I wonder how the avatar is doing...' I thought

"Ālyss, me and your mother are gonna train you more now" father said interrupting my thoughts "of course father!" I said smiling and following him and mother to an open area 

'What if that kid I saw was the avatar...' I thought placing a finger on my chin, I stopped walking when we were in an open area "remember you can use your enemies attack against them" mother said standing into a water bending stance

Father created a fire ball and threw it at me as I just took some water and made a water wall in front of me as the fire ball disappeared into the water right before mother took the water 

'Crap..' I thought before an idea came into my mind, i touched the ground as tiny water droplets appeared. I turned the droplets into ice and summoned a fire on my palm.

The flame absorbed the ice but it didn't melt the ice it just absorbed the ice 'I need to find an opening' I thought looking around at my parents, I touched the ground this time summoning a fire in the air, I took it and made it bigger then threw it at my parents 

I saw them both dodging the fire 'now is my chance to make a move!' I thought before making a fire wall around the two making it able for them to not move

"That's quite handy dear" mother said smiling "thanks mother" I said removing the wall "I better get packing now"I said dashing to get my things

I took two bags and placed some clothes, my scrolls, and other things , I took a small portrait and placed it into my bag 

I walked out and looked at the sky 'it's almost time...' I thought sighing "I really don't wanna leave.." I mumbled quietly to myself 

Mom walked over to me "everyone is gonna be there when you leave" she said "I guess this is a goodbye for now?" She said smiling, I looked at her with small tear droplets in my eyes "I guess so.." I said "let's get going.." she said bringing me to the front where each tribesman were 

Chief tozic walked up to me and looked at the others "today our warrior ālyss has been sent a mission by our masters" he said in a stern voice the others smiled at me "ālyss I hope you have a safe journey" he said 

"It's time I leave.." I'd say smiling, everyone walked with me to the beach as I touched it an ice platform appeared "this is goodbye for now" I said before using my water bending to make a wave as I rode it

I looked behind me everyone was waving. Some tears escaped my eye but I knew this was for the best

I rode the wave to the nearby islands hoping to find a good area
