"It's my turn to patrol tonight Tikki," Marinette says sighing after taking a very long shower to wash the wonderful scent of Adrien's cologne off her body. Although the scent comforted her, it made her feel too guilty, She had just confessed her attraction to Chat noir the night before. "I actually wanted to see Chat tonight" she pouts

"Why, so you can tell him that you're back together with Adrien" Tikki grins

Marinette glares at the tiny red kwami "we are not back together"

"Sure didn't look like that" Tikki says hugging herself and making smooching sounds

Marinette gives Tikki the death glare but can't help but smile at the little kwami's antics

Tikki giggles and flies over to hug Marinette's cheek "I love having a hot kwami owner"

Marinette giggles and cups Tikki in her hand "It's not like I don't like the attention of guys, it's just too much is well too much...you know"

"Actually I don't know, I'm a 5,000+ year-old interstellar being with only Plagg as a love interest, as you can see my options are limited," Tikki says laughing

"You and Plagg would be cute together, plus you have all the other kwami's too" Marinette says bopping the kwami on the nose with her finger

"Ew not stinky sock," she says plugging her nose and fanning away an imaginary stinky sock smell "The other kwami's are far younger than Plagg and i" she says with a frown

Marinette laughs "You guys would be so cute together"

Tikki looks wistfully into oblivion pondering the thought "no... yes? nooo" she says giggling the idea

Marinette looks at the lovelorn kwami and smiles "Fine deny it all you want, you and plagg are perfect for each other"

"You're gonna be late for patrol, it's almost 7," Tikki says changing the subject flying out of Marinette's hand

"Oh shit yeah ok Tikki spo-" Marinette says as she hears a soft thud on her roof

Chat noir

"Tikki hide," Mari says as she climbs up her bed to open the trap door

"Chat !" Marinette says climbing out of the trap door using Chats hand to pull herself up

Chat pulls Marinette into a hug and smiles

Marinette frowns feeling guilty

"Chat," Marinette says almost whispering

Chat hums in response

"I have a confession," She says burying her head into his chest afraid to look at his face

"What is it Princess," Chat says resting his chin on the small girls head

"So today in class we watched a movie and Adrien wrapped his arms around me out of nowhere and cuddled with me for the whole movie...he also touched my thigh... said i was his." Marinette says as fast as she can "And I didn't pull away or object" she mumbles, she braces for Chat to get mad and never speak to her again

A soft chuckle erupts from chats chest, Marinette looks up to see a very much happy chat with absolutely no intention of leaving her, he lets go and wipes a tear from his mask

"You're not mad?" Marinette says

"No no I'm furious...furious that I wasn't there to see you're cute flustered face," he says doubling over in laughter

Marinette stares at him confused

The chat looks at her "Look Marinette I've met you and I know how easily flustered you get, I understand that you didn't pull away cause of this also it's still very obvious you're still in love with Adrien, but I don't mind, you told me what happened and I trust you. I'm just happy to be with you right now at this moment so don't worry princess" he says staring into Marinette's eyes

Marinette is stunned "So...you're not mad?"

"No," he says stepping closer and wrapping her arms around her waist

"You're absolutely purr-fect kitty," she says standing on her tiptoes and kisses him "But I have to go make dinner," she says pouting

"Aw but I just got here" he whines

"I know and I'm sorry but don't you have superhero stuff to do"

"Nope ladybug is on Patrol duty tonight" he beams

not right now she isn't

"I'm sorry kitty but I have to go"

She plants a kiss on his lips before heading down the trap door "Goodnight Chaton"

Chat hops off her balcony to the next roof on his way home

******30 min later****

Marinette, now transformed into Ladybug peeks out of her trapdoor to make sure Chat had left.

"Phew ok now I can start patrol," She says swinging to the nearest roof

I can't believe how ok Chat was with what happened, completely different to the sweet but protective Adrien who snarls at any other guy that looks my way, If he knew about Chat noir's almost nightly visits he'd freak

A smile plasters on Ladybugs face

Is it bad that I like the protective aura I get from both Adrien and Chat noir?

She quickly shakes the thought from her mind

I'm getting distracted I have to finish patrol

****after patrol****

Ladybug swings onto her balcony absolutely exhausted

"I have to talk to Adrien tomorrow," she says feeding her equally exhausted kwami "We have to set some boundaries"
