Adrien looks defeated but he's not giving up yet. The school day drags on. Everyone already catching on to the sudden distance between Adrien and Marinette. School ends and Marinette rushes out of the classroom. Adrien runs to catch up with her. Marinette sees him in the corner of her eyes and ducks into an alleyway, she backs up into the alleyway trying to cover herself in the shadows she trips on a beer bottle and falls to the gorund, Adrien runs up to the alleyway, looking around for Marinette when he hears cursing to herself. He runs over to help her up
"Don't fucking touch me" she says slapping his hand, getting up on her own to exit the alleyway
He blocks her path
"Get out of my way Adrien," she says growing angry
"Marinette, I'm sorry" he starts "I have to explain just let me explain
"NO!" she shouts "NO YOU DONT GET TO DO THAT, YOU DONT GET TO BREAK UP WITH ME OVER TEXT AND WALTZ BACK TWO DAYS LATER TO EXPLAIN" she yells air quoting 'explain'
Adrien winces
"GET AWAY FROM ME" she screams
Adrien walks to her and pulls her into a hug, she's kicking and screaming trying to get out of his grasp. he doesn't let go, gently and pushes her on the brick wall and holds her shoulders so she can't escape. she stops screaming and looks away defeated.
"I need to explain Mari...please," he says begging
Mari stays silent trying to block out the sound unsuccessfully
"I'm sorry Marinette, I told my dad about us. He wasn't happy, he made me break up with you, if I didn't, he would've made you and your parent's lives a living hell. He would make it so you couldn't be a fashion designer." he says his voice breaking
"I don't care about that, I wanted to be with you" Marinette whispers tears brimming her eyes "I WANTED TO BE WITH YOU" she yells
