If At First You Don't Succeed, Lie, Lie Again

"That lunch lady has a gift for suspense." Spencer says placing her bowl on her lap.

"Where's Hanna?" I ask

"Who cares?" Aria slurred eating her food

We all turn to her.

"What?" Spencer asks

Aria shook her head. "I don't know."

"Em' how's swim practice." Spencer asks

"Can we talk about something else." Emily tells her.

"Okay I've heard of communal cramps, but this is ridiculous. What happened to all that first real date excitement?" Spencer asks Aria. "I mean yesterday you were ready to give me tongue for giving you two tickets. Not into it any more?"

"No." Aria says. "I mean yes. Yeah I'm so into it. Were going to have an amazing time tonight."

"Okay so talk what are you gonna wear?" I ask

"I can't decide between my backless or my strapless."

"Go with the red one. Be bold." Spencer says. "Huh what do you think Em'?"

"about what?" Emily asks looking at something.

"What are you looking at?" I ask looking in that direction.

"Its nothing. Just some girl on the swim team who really wants me to disappear."

"What her name?" Aria asked

"Paige McCullers."

"Oh I know her. We played field hockey together. We named a penalty after her." I tell them. "What'd she say?"

"Just some snarky comment about me being gay."

"I'll destroy her." Spencer and I say at the same time

"Um, can I help?" Aria says.

"Guys it's okay I'll take care of it." Emily pulls out a gift box and her wallet. "Anyone else thirsty I'm going to get a drink?"

Aria grabs the box. "Who's this from?"

"Paige. Whatever it is you can have it. She's trying to bribe her way into being the next team captain."

Aria opens the box and takes out a blue bracelet written GO SHARKS.

"Do you think they're from the same place?" Aria asks as Emily looks at her bracelet

"Its possible." Emily says

"If they are maybe the owner can tell us who bought the fake Alison bracelet." Spencer says

"Yeah or maybe even the Jenna one." Aria adds

"We would know who A is."

I grab the cover of the box looking at the name of the shop. The Bead Boutique "This only one way to find out."

SPENCER AND I walked into the house after getting pizza.

"Jason." Spencer says shocked.

"Your housekeeper let me in said I could wait for you here." Jason explains.

"So what did your private investigator say?" Spencer asked placing the pizza on the table.

Jason takes the picture out of his bag holding it out to us. "Well the picture is real and for all I know I may have taken it."
