Chapter 13- Broken Promise

Just then Ryker jumped into the conversation just wanting it to end. "Save it and go" Ryker said, making them go into the Trickery Hall before them. Ryker had never stood up for anyone like that before, even for his own friends. Ryker was more of a laid-back kind of boy who didn't like getting into many arguments. Andrea never saw that side of Ryker until now and was still shocked to see that come out of him. "He was just trying to get on our nerves, let's go" Ryker said, making Andrea walk in first while they were going to follow behind. "You know how this is going to end." Ryker said to Asher trying to comfort him. "Yes, I know she is going to hate me. Come on" Asher said, nervous for what was going to happen.

Andrea was already sitting down by herself waiting for the boys to come. When she saw them come inside she waved her hand so they knew where she was sitting. Both boys came, Ryker sat across from then while Asher sat next to Andrea. "Now can someone tell me what happened back there?" Andrea said, she seemed to be the only one who was confused on what may have happened. "I doubt it was anything" Asher said, just then all the food came flying once again for dinner. Andrea didn't have the biggest appetite since she wasn't very hungry for many reasons. Mainly because she didn't know what the boys may have been trying to hide from her. What Adrian had said really stuck with Andrea and she couldn't get her mind off of it.

The meal was about to commence until someone had gotten everyone's attention, however it wasn't the headmaster. When the entire school turned their head to listen to whoever wanted to say something, it was Ella who was standing in the front. No one knew what was going on, except for Andrea's friend as well as Noah's. Asher and Ryker became very nervous for what was going to happen next. "Are you going to tell me?" Andrea said, at this point she was annoyed at both of them knowing that something was going to happen. "Just know that Ryker has no play in this Andrea" Asher said, whose head was hanging down, worried.

Headmaster Zyleftro seemed to try and stop Ella yet she wasn't going to budge from where she was standing. She stood loud and proud and started her announcement. "Why hello Black Academia. Andrea, why don't you come up?" Ella said, pointing her wand to where she was sitting. Andrea looked at her with a confused expression until the Balin twins came up to Andrea and started to drag her to the front. Andrea tried to loosen herself from their grip yet they were just too strong. They brought her next to Ella and sat back down at the Bathen table.

Ava, Diego, Ryker, Asher, and Lucas seemed worried for Andrea yet only Asher and Ryker knew what was going to happen. "Sweet little Andrea, just loves all the attention and to hang out with my boyfriend" Ella started. Andrea knew that Ella hated her yet she never knew she was offended by talking to her friend. Andrea was getting worried for what she had up her sleeve, yet tried to remain calm. It looked as if she was waiting for some sort of answer from Andrea, so she gave her one. "It's not my fault that I've known him longer and he is my best friend" Andrea said, knowing that would've made Ella angry. Ryker made a look that said you messed up to what it seemed to both Andrea and Asher.

Ella gave Andrea a dirty look while she also gave one back. Andrea looked at the headmaster and he didn't know what was going to come next. Andrea trusted Asher with many of her secrets and she doubted that he would tell her. Right? "Well, you see. You have many secrets you love to hide" Ella continued, Andrea tried her best not to act shocked so she could hide her identity for as long as possible. Yet it was very difficult, since at that point she thought Asher told her about Andrea being in the defenders. "I don't know what you're talking about." Andrea said, trying to make this conversation finish as soon as possible. A smirk grew on Ella's lips and Andrea started to worry. "If you are so sure, then why do you have the defender mark?" Ella said loudly enough for the entire school to hear.

The entire school broke into commotion once Ella had said that, Andrea kept a straight face, trying not to show too much emotion. She couldn't believe that Asher had told her, he was the only one who talked to Ella out of the entire group. "I can't believe him" Andrea thought to herself and looked over at Asher. He wasn't even paying attention and looked as if tears were forming in his eyes. Ryker looked at Andrea with a worried expression, and tried to talk with Asher yet she didn't care.
