Luke arrived at Lily's front door. he knocked twice before what he assumed was her mother opened the door.
"um I'm here to see Lily" Luke said as he played with his lip ring
"Lily a boy is here to see you" her mom yelled up the stairs
almost immediately Lily was running down the stairs.
"hi" she blushed
"do you, uh, wanna go on a walk" Luke stuttered
"yeah" Lily bit her lip to keep from smiling like an idiot
Lily really liked Luke and Luke really liked Lily but neither of them could tell the other.
"um do you care about what people think of you" Luke asked her
"I used to, but not much anymore, why?"
"well um well you see I told my friends that I hung out with you today and I don't think they like you very much" he mumbled
"no one really likes me, I know what they say, I'm not deaf" she sassed
the two of them continued their walk occasionally looking at the other, luke brushed his hand over lily's which caused her to look up at him.
Luke smiled at her and grabbed her hand. they laced their fingers together and continued walking. Luke stopped walking which made lily stop too.
Luke brushed the lilac hair out of her face and pressed his lips against hers. lily rested her arms around his neck and Luke grabbed her waist to pull her closer. the two of them pulled away at the same time. Lily smiled. really smiled. she wanted to cover her mouth but luke was holding both her hands.
