Thanks and I am sorry for the long term of non-writing, I have just been in a slump with school.

Chapter 10
Magnus's POV

I get a call from Lissa as soon as I get to the loft.
"Yes, dearie?" I ask as I pull my cell phone out of my pocket.
"Mina's missing," Lissa replies.

I nearly drop my phone.
"What? How?"
"She was down in the cellar looking for details and clues, then she up and vanished with a scream."
"Okay."

I try to control my thoughts. Mina was very close-well all the children I was very close with- so I have to remain calm for Lissa.

"Okay," I repeat. "I need to text Alec. Call Tessa and Jem immediately."
"Yes, sir."
She hangs up, and I portal myself back to the Institute.

As I land at the entrance, I see Atticus and his gang escaping through the windows.
I continue walking, in pursuit of my husband.

Atticus drops onto the concrete first, he runs and grabs Simon Lovelace's old van and puts it in drive, opening the sliding door for the others to hop in, Atticus hits the gas pedal and soon they're off.

"Are you guys sure that Magnus didn't see us?" Rebecca asks as she fidgets with the ruby necklace that has been passed through the Lightwood family for generations.

"Don't worry Becca," Eleanor says. "Magnus is probably worried about Alec anyway."
Rebecca nods.

As they reach Garroway Books, Atticus parks on the side road, and they all dash into the store.
John locks the door behind them, leading the way to Luke's loft.

"What's this?" Atticus asks.
"Luke's loft," Rebecca says. "Dad and Aunt Clary use it sometimes."

The five of them set their belongings on the couch, while Georgia locks the door.

"Soooo," Eleanor says, elongating the word. "What do we do next?"
"We should set up perimeter searches, try to catch whoever is doing this," John suggests.

Zach's phone starts ringing
"One minute," He says, standing up. He walks into the side room, speaking rapid mandarin into the cell phone.

"What's that about?" Georgia asks, her brown eyes curious.
She reminds people more of Simon than Isabelle sometimes.

"Probably what Uncle Magnus is worried about," Rebecca says. "It's nothing to worry about little sister."
Georgia nods, fixing her glasses.

Eleanor pulls out a piece of paper and quickly writes some ideas down.
"So," She says. "I am assigning three groups of two. It will be Rebecca and Atticus, Georgia and I, and Zach goes with John."

"How come you are automatically in charge?" Atticus asks, tugging on his sister's blonde curls.
"Because I am the oldest, obviously," Eleanor smirks. "I propose that one group goes and meets up with Lily Chen. See if any of the vampires know anything since she is their leader."

"What about the other Downworlders?" John asks.
"The Warlocks already know, because of Magnus," Georgia adds. "And the faeries know because of Mark, Kieran and Cristina. The wolves know because of Luke, and so Lily is the only one we haven't contacted, even though she was at the Institute with Jem and Alec recently."
