SORROW is the first Japanese extended play of Polish-Korean soloist, Kinga, which was released under SM Entertainment and Avex Trax on January 24, 2021. The album is dedicated to Kingas' younger sister, which is why the album was released on the younger's birthday. Kinga stated that "I wanted to give my sister something that she could use for the rest of her life".

However, even though the album was basically a birthday present for her sister, the album became one of the most listened to album in Japan, where she charted Japanese charts, and became to be known as the "Japanese Princess", even though she isn't Japanese. Her popularity sky rocketed so much in Japan after her debut with #GirlsSpkOut single back in 2020, that she received so many positive feedbacks and criticism from the Japanese public.
