James -

- let's be real James is kind of the perfect model boyfriend for your parents to meet

- he's charming, funny and also pretty clever

- I feel like parents just love James a lot because not only is he charismatic he's also good at turning on the charm.

- I mean how else did he get head boy? You can't tell me he doesn't have a button which if you press, immediately charms whoever he's with

- "Hello Mr & Mrs l/n..." he'd say with a huge grin

- I have a feeling James is just great at getting along with both parents not just one

- he's super confident so I'm sure he'd happily talk about sport with your dad and then be a right old gossip with your mum ( or whoever your guardian is for that matter)

- absolutely relishes in the embarrassing photos your parents share with him "Wow Mr/Mrs l/n I'd love to see another photo of baby y/n in the bath..."

Sirius -

- in this scenario Sirius and James are very much OPPOSITES

- let's be real here Sirius is probably every fathers worst nightmare

- he smokes, rides a motorbike and wears leather jackets, he's like a walking parent scarer

- BUT I think that after the initial shock of Sirius's appearance he'd manage to win over your parents

- he's a cheeky little shit so he'd bring up embarrassing things about you to try and win over your parents

- "Oh yeah she still sleeps with that teddy..."

- "SIRIUS SHUT UP!" And then your parents are just cracking up because he teases you like they do

Remus-

- I hate head-canons of shy Remus

- don't get me wrong he's reserved but I think when he wants to be, he's the cheekiest and most charismatic motherfucker

- definitely would other-think the whole exchange though "Y/n I think they hate me..."

- "Rem they literally said they love you..."

- "it could be a sign... like false sense of security... do you think cause I used the wrong knife they won't cook for me again?"

- but overall he can definitely charm the shit out of your family

- he's like James but less cocky about it

- also I feel like Remus is actually a big gossip low-key, so he'd deffo be gossiping with your mum

Severus-

- this dude thinks he's cool as a cucumber when In reality he's a worse other thinker then Remus

- he just assumes everyone hates him all the time, so why would your parents be any different?

- he's a little awkward but after a while his intelligence will shine through and I feel like your parents will be really impressed

- he's witty as fuck so he'd probably be saying shitty little comments not thinking it's funny

- but your family are ROARING laughing

- this boosts his confidence

- "see I didn't think it was that funny... like it wasn't even really a joke... they laughed a lot though... was I funny y/n?"

- "YES YOU WERE FUNNY"

Tom-

- well we know that he's literally a SOCIOPATH

- so he'd be very good at manipulating your parents into liking him

- I mean he charmed the whole of the Hogwarts while murdering students so to him this is a piece of piss

- very smarmy

- would probably only agree to meet your parents if it benefited him somehow

- "did you say your dad works at the ministry?"

-"uh yeah..."

- "perfect we'll be round Friday..."
