" Hey, hey are you alright?!" I coughed up water as air entered my burning lungs. I looked up only to see a tall hooded person hovering over me. I shrieked and jumped back hitting a tree. The figure stood up and let out a sigh. " It's okay calm down. Don't over exert yourself. You did just almost die." I took in large breaths as my eyes darted around looking at my surroundings. Then my eyes landed on the rapid river and back at the hooded person. " Y-You saved me?" I asked nervously keeping my eyes locked on the person in front of me. " Well yes, but I usually don't save people. Be lucky my gut told me to jump in and save your stupid ass." I looked down as tears swelled back in my eyes. " You should've just let me drown! That way I wouldn't be forced to..." I started shivering uncontrollably and fell to ground my body extremely weak. " Ah shit, hypothermia...just my luck. Here let me warm you up." I looked up my vision blurry but soon warmth surrounded my body. I cuddled closer into it as my eyes closed.
