It was mainly sexual, the other part seemed as if fate played with them... forcing them to dance on a tightrope that neither wanted to be in.

"I see that you're still a cocky bastard..." Matilda drawled, "Go back to your boyfriends, they seemed to be watching you like a hawk."

It was true, under the banner of red and gold was four boys that she had the displeasure in serving... watching them intensely. A small laugh slipped from Dalton's lips, "I'll see you later Hoggs."

"I doubt that Corpus."

Asterin loved comparing the two, to the likes of James Potter and Lily Evans. That whenever they used one another's last name, it was laced with more sexual tension than between her mother and father. She then went on to say she had eight older sisters. Matilda did not speak to her for a week.

Once he left, Matilda slummed in her chair, groaning as she buried her head into her collapsed arms. Everyone knew better than to question her, it seemed Dalton knew exactly how to trigger her better than anyone else.

Turning to face Asterin, she asked, "How's your father?"

The conversation picked up again, with the roar from each table loud as everyone asked one another how their holidays have been. Asterin told her all about her visit to Venice, how she wished she went to Taiwan instead... but of course her parents loved the luxury fashion in Italy more.

"I just don't understand, they attack me for being too western..." She yells, loud enough for Erika to hear; she was opposite the table from them, "That I'm not embracing my Korean roots... but have the audacity to not only name me Asterin, but indulge in more pasta then noodles... the audacity!"

Antonella let out a small laugh, "Maybe it's because you refused to attend the wizarding school in Japan?"

A howl of laughter came from Taylor Rerden, his face turning red, as it was a common conversation at the beginning of every year, "Don't say that Antonella, or else Asterin might explode."

Indeed she did.

"It's just so stupid!" she cried loudly, her voice annoyed, "They are muggles for merlins sake and all their fucking children are magic..." She let out a groan, "It's not my fault they're all suck ups and decided to go to Manhoutokoro."

It was true miracle. Asterin Hao was muggle born, and yet all her sisters were witches. A nasty shock for her parents, but by the time Asterin showed any potential for magic they were already used to it. All her sister's had already graduated as the gold uniform; the top of the entire school.

"They did it again y'know," She said, her lips curling into a smirk, "begging me to attend Manhoutokoro, as supposably I am failing-"

"You are failing-"

"Shut up Matilda," She quipped back, "Don't you have to be at the snake table?"

Antonella let out a soft laugh, receiving daggers from both of her friends. Matilda said a small goodbye and left for the table of green and silver, joining her Slytherin peers.

"But of course I said no, there is something pleasing to watch my parents beg me to at least pass my classes..."

Asterin continued to drone on about her parents, how they even attempted to bribe her to not go to Hogwarts, but Antonella stopped listening, as she felt a pair of hazel eyes on her back. Turning around, she was staring straight at James Potter. Just as quickly as she turned to see him, his eyes dropped from her and back to whatever Sirius Black was talking about.

In a matter of minutes, the doors reopened and the chattered ceased as Professor McGonagall walked down the passage way between the Ravenclaw and Gryffindor table. The nervous first years following, as Professor McGonagall placed the broken three legged stool with the dingy old hate with many tares; the sorting hat.
