Dear Mom,
Well christmas has come and gone, it was sad without you but we stayed together as a family. Dad, Sis and I spent the morning cooking we went non traditional and had mexican food it was yummy. I gave each of the grandkids some pictures of you and of course joey cried josh is so much like bub that he tried to hide his emotions. Sis cried especially when I gave her the photo album but also because bub hurt her. Dad did real good until I gave him the 8 x 10 of you where he was leaning over kissing your forhead it was the sweetest thing I could not help it. Dad did real good with the presents I was really proud of him but told him he didn't have to.
I'm sure you know but Uncle Don passed away on the night before Christmas Eve, he'd been fighting for a long time, dad has been helping Aunt Shirley and Donna Jean cope hopefully Aunt Shirley doesn't get sick. Anyway momma I love you and I miss you so much but I know your in a better place and healthy I wouldn't ask you to come back and deal with what you where I would rather deal with the greif then see you suffer.
