Iruka:Wait, you don't know....it's not really my place to be telling you so I'll let the Hokage tell you

You quickly sped off to the Hokage building in confusion as you didn't know what Iruka meant

'Maybe I'll go home after and check how mom's doing, I haven't been home in a while, she's probably worried'

You made your way into the Hokage's office as you see Guy talking to him

Hiruzen:Ah, (Y/N), just the person I wanted to see, Guy, you are excused

Guy leaves the room leaving you and Hiruzen alone

"What's wrong"

Hiruzen:I wanted to talk to you about your role in Konoha, I know going on about your life with the loss of your mom isn't easy-

"W-What, what do you mean the loss of my mother"

Hiruzen:I'm sorry boy, it must be a hell of a thing you're going through, if you need someone to talk to I'm always here

"What the hell are you talking about old man! It's not funny to joke about things like that!"

Hiruzen:O-Oh, you didn't know yet, I'm sorry to tell you this but...your mother......ended herself a couple of days ago

You stumble before turning around and running home at full speed with the help of Zenno

'He's joking right, there's no way'

'No, he had to have been, I'm gonna walk through the door and get greeted by her, right'

As you were running you passed by the hyuga estate while Hinata was coming you and happened to have seen you

'No no no please no'

You get to the front of your house and take a deep breath before opening the door

"M-Mom, I'm h-home

No answer

"M-Mom, I s-said I'm home"

'Please, answer me'

You start tearing up at the doorstep while Zenno tries to comfort you

You run to your mother's room and throw yourself on the bed muffling your cries before noticing a note on her drawer

Dear (Y/N),
If you're reading this then no doubt about it I'm no longer here. First of all I don't want you to feel like this was your fault, you and Naruto were one of the only things that kept me going in this cruel cold world. I know he wasn't my real son, but I can't help but feel that I was the only mother figure to that poor boy. Truth be told, I was happy that you had him around, it gave me hope that there was still some good in this shinobi world of ours. But one of the main reasons I also enjoyed keeping him around, was because you were just like him. You have a beast sealed inside of you just like Naruto. But this beast is much more powerful, this is an origin beast, stronger than the tailed beasts, it's more like the beasts of all beasts. You hold the spirit of Nozomu, Konoha's origin lion. This spirit will help you in your journey to become a great ninja, just like your father. I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, but, I just wanted you to have as much of a normal childhood as I could give you. Unfortunately there was not much left for me in this world other than you, but you want to be a ninja, and to be frank with you, that doesn't always end with a big happy family, so I chose the easy way out. I know it was cowardly of me, and that you probably hate me for it, but please don't cry about it, my age would've caught up to me at some point, I just didn't wanna be at home one day and hear that my son wouldn't come back, it's hypocritical of me, but it was just too much for me to bear anymore, and for that I'm sorry, but I want you to know that, you'll be alright. You'll make great friends, and at some point I know you'll find love, I'm just sad that I won't be able to see it happen, but...I know we'll meet again, until then (Y/N), I love you

Reading this letter made you cry even more until something came to comfort you, no, someone

She saw you crying and hugged you to try to comfort you, you couldn't help but hug her back and cry into her shoulder

"T-To be honest with you...n-no, a lot of things have been g-going on and I don't feel like I can go on anymore, Hinata, I'm gonna ask you something, and please......be honest with me......do I deserve to be alive?"

Hinata looks down at you to realize that you're sound asleep on her shoulder, she couldn't help but smile
