hi! it's been a while... 

I've decided to just go on with this. I will just make adjustment on the future chapters than I originally planned.

I changed the POV halfway through this chapter para mas mavisualize natin ang bawat side ng mga characters. I hope okay lang yon...

"GREAT! ACTUALLY I'M ON MY WAY THERE." Saki's voice is cheerful and sweet. Nararamdaman kong excited siyang puntahan ako.

"Ha?" I blink twice. Narinig ko ng malinaw ang sinabi ni Saki pero tila ba ayaw magrehistro ng sinabi niya sa isip ko. I waited hoping he'll say it's just a joke.

"Bakit? May problema ba, Misao?"

"Wala kasi ako sa bahay ngayon." I pause contemplating about telling the truth. In the end I know better than telling him an excuse. "I'm helping a friend with our assignment."

"I see..." The cheerfulness of his voice faded and quickly replaced by disappointment. I can almost hear him frowning at the other end. "Then, should I just go back? Actually, malapit na ako sa address na binigay mo."

I rub the back of my neck, thinking. I promised Toshiro that I will help him finish the assignment today. I just can't leave him like that... But is it okay for him to meet Saki? It's not like may something pa kami ni Saki...

And maybe, Toshiro won't even be bothered if he knew about my past with Saki.

I told Saki that he can call me and that he can visit me anytime he's not busy. He really seems excited today. I don't want to break that happiness.

"No. I'm heading back home. Wait for me."

He chuckles. "Sure."

Bumalik ako sa loob ng shop at umupo muli sa harap ni Toshiro. My mind is lost in thought thinking how to tell Toshiro.

"Bakit ganyan ang mukha mo?" He asks as he sips on his coffee.

"Uhm, Can you do the assignment on your own?"

"Huh?" His mouth gapes open. "No. Kumplikado yung mga susunod na problems. I don't think kaya ko sagutan to mag-isa." He closes his laptop while eyeing me with confusion... and worry. "Bakit Misao? May nangyari ba?"

"My old friend is coming over." I heave a deep sigh. "Kung okay lang sayo, you can continue with the assignment in my apartment, at least there you can still ask me anytime."

His lips curve into a big, bright smile. "Okay lang. Promise hindi ko kayo masyado iistorbuhin. Gusto ko lang matapos na 'to ngayong araw."

"Okay. Let's go back."

NAGLALAKAD KAMI NI TOSHIRO PAPUNTA SA APARTMENT KO nang sa di kalayuan ay may nakapark na itim na sedan at may nakasandal na lalaki sa tabi nito.
