My bags were packed and sitting on the table ready to be stuffed into the backseat of the car. I'm not exactly excited to be going on this road trip with Castiel but it's a hunt and has to be done. For as long as we've known each other we haven't gotten along. I'm not totally sure why but I can't stand the Angel. There's something about him that gets on my nerves.

What sucks is that this hunt is going to take around four days. It's been a tough one and we spent weeks on it. Unfortunately the boys can't join us because they've got a different hunt to work on. After saying our goodbyes the two of us left. Cas drove while I searched my phone for any new leads on this case. So far nothing so I shut my phone off and rested my head on the window.

Suddenly we were pulling into a gas station parking lot, confusing me. "What are you doing?" I asked looking over at Cas.

"Getting gas, I forgot to yesterday." He informed me and I rolled my eyes. He knows to be more prepared for things like this. It's only wasting precious time. An innocent woman died, we don't need anymore victims. "I sense you have a problem. If you don't like it then you're more than welcome to walk." He glared.

"Take your time." I sarcastically smiled at him. He only ignored me and climbed out of the car before filling the tank up. Soon enough we were back on the road heading to Oklahoma. The car filled with silence as I closed my eyes trying to get some sleep. It's going to be quite a drive and last night I only got three hours of sleep.

My nap only lasted an hour when I felt the car jerk, causing me to hit my head off the window. Groaning I opened my eyes and looked around confused. "What's going on?" I asked looking over at Cas who sighed annoyed.

"We got a flat tire," he told me. "Probably ran over something sharp."

"Or you can't drive." I mumbled but he heard it.

"I'm sorry that everything I do isn't good enough for your satisfaction."

Rolling my eyes I climbed out of the car and saw the tire on my side is flat. It's the front one on the passenger side. While Cas called for some help I inspected the flat and saw he didn't run over anything sharp. It looks like someone sabotaged this tire. Someone purposely let the air out of it. "Cas come look at this." I told him. He inspected it himself and realized the same thing.

"I wonder who would have done this?" He questioned more to himself than to me.

"Doesn't matter because we won't be arriving to Oklahoma for another twenty four hours." I groaned. He seemed to have had enough and turned to me with a glare.

"You know over the years I've been trying to understand why you hate me and I can't figure it out. I know everything in the world except why you don't like me." He let out. His outburst surprised me at first but I replied.

"Me? I only hated you because you were so mean to me for no reason."

"Wait so you're telling me we've been arguing and hating each other for nothing?" He asked. I gave it a second to think about then nodded my head. He let out a sigh as he looked to the ground then back at me. "Listen y/n I never really hated you, I obviously care about you but I guess it was hard to see that over all the constant bickering."

I smiled softly completely agreeing with him. "I care about you too Cas and to be honest I don't hate you either. I love you." I accidentally spit those last three words out. He wasn't supposed to hear that and I wasn't sure what I meant by it. Nonetheless he is shocked and looking at me confused.

"You love me?" His eyebrow raised. I nodded my head slowly, feeling completely stupid. Well this whole thing just escalated quickly. "I-I love you too." He responded making me feel less stupid. That actually made me smile as he wrapped me in an assuring hug. It felt good being in his arms, his strong arms. After we got some help with the tire we were back on the road.

Only this trip is going to be much better than I anticipated. You could say we're definitely getting along better now because ever since we got back on the road his hand held tightly onto mine. We made small talk instead of fighting and really got to know things about each other we didn't know before. I'm happy about going with him otherwise we wouldn't have made up like this.

After the hunt was over and we went home Dean had some pretty interesting news for us. He told Castiel and I that he let the air out of the tire so we'd be forced to sit down and talk. As much as I was upset at him for that, I was sure to thank him. I think we all could use a friend like Dean every once in a while.
