"Xord?" Agad na nilingon ng lalaki ang dalaga nang tawagin nito ang pangalan niya.

He carefully caressed Astreille's face. "Why, baby? Nahihilo ka ba?"

"No." Bumangon ito mula sa pagkakasandal sa upuan ng eroplano. She swallowed hard before facing him.

"Would we ever fight in the future?" Xord was speechless for a moment because of her question. Kalaunan ay naiiling na napatawa ang lalaki.

"No. I'll never offend you in any way, I won't do anything wrong to make you mad," he sincerely responded.

Umiwas ng tingin si Astreille sa nobyo bago ngumiti nang matamis. ilang segundo niyang pinagmasdan ang kalangitan sa labas ng sinasakyan nilang eroplano. She turned her gaze back at him before hugging his right arm. Agad namang hinalikan ng lalaki ang tuktok ng buhok niya.

"I'm thankful, sorry for acting this way. I just don't want to lose you, Xord," she whispered before closing her eyes.

"What happened? What's running inside that pretty head of yours? Tell me, my baby," malambing na panunudyo ng nobyo sa kaniya.

Tumitig ang dalaga sa mga mata ni Xord bago matawa nang bahagya. "When we returned Miyuki to Arrow and Froze a while ago. I noticed how aloof Arrow was, mabait siya oo, pero ramdam ko na umiiwas siya sa mga tao. But when she saw Miyuki, I love how her eyes shined in happiness. Miyuki and Arrow treasure each other a lot. And I can see myself in them, ayokong mawalan, Xord. Ayokong maiwan na namang mag-isa."

Xord bit his lower lip as he flashed a sweet smile. "I won't leave you. Never."

"But if something happened in the future, and we happen to break-up, I'm scared," dagdag pa ng dalaga.

Natawa ang binata dahil doon. "I can't even breathe properly with the thought of leaving you, baby. That won't happen. I swear. And I won't let you break up with me also," sagot niya.

Astreille pouted her lips. "Nagda-drama lang ako."

"What happened? Come on, tell me. I'm all ears."

"Jezreel texted me a while ago, s-she said that she's l-leaving Philippines for good. Magpapakasal sila ng girlfriend niya sa ibang bansa." Napahikbi ang dalaga nang maalala ang mensaheng natanggap niya mula sa matalik na kaibigan.

Pagka-alis na pagkaalis nilang dalawa ni Xord mula sa palasyo, she received a text from Jezreel that breaks her heart in pain, and in happiness.

"She's getting m-married, legal sa ibang bansa 'yon kaya doon na siya titira. I'm so p-proud of her, I am happy. Pero mami-miss ko siya nang sobra. She's always there for me whenever I'm crying, t-tapos ngayon, hindi ko na siya masyadong makikita. Sa cellphone na lang," umiiyak na pagsusumbong ng dalaga.

Nagpakawala ng tawa si Xord bago akbayan ang nobya. He hugged her gently before combing her soft hair using his fingers.

"It's alright, stop crying. If you want to see her face to face, tell me, we'll fly all the way to her place whenever you want," pagpapakalma niya rito.

Agad na tumahan ang dalaga habang sumisinghot-singhot pa na pinunasan ang mga luha. "Thank you. S-Sorry kung madrama ako."

"Nah, it's okay. Stop crying now, I hate seeing you crying," malambing na sagot ng binata sa kaniya.

"Pinaiyak mo nga ako noon."

Napapikit si Xord bago hilutin ang sentido. "I can't remember it."

"You made me cried one time kasi sabi mo ang cute ko umiyak, nakalimutan mo na agad?" takang tanong ng dalaga.

He bit his lip before smiling. "I can remember. I was naughty that time. I'm sorry."

Humilig na lang ang dalaga sa dibdib niya bago bumuntong hininga. "I love you."

Pinagmasdan ng binata ang bintana. Xord doesn't know if he's just overthinking or not, but he feels uncomfortable with their conversation. He can feel that Astreille is hiding something.

Astreille on the other hand smiled bitterly before wiping the bullet of tears on her cheeks.

She just want an assurance, that Xord will not leave her. Gusto niya lang makasiguro na mahal siya ng lalaki.

She doesn't want Xord to leave her. It's painful. Pero mas mababawasan ang sakit kapag siya ang nang-iwan. Mas mababawasan ang bigat ng dibdib niya kapag siya ang pumutol sa relasyon na m'eron sila.

For him... For Xord... She'll do everything for his own sake.

Nakangiting sinalubong ni Astreille ang binata nang makita itong papalapit. Xord immediately pulled her waist before kissing her lips.

"You seems happy. What happened inside?" nakangiting pang-uusisa nito.

Kinagat ni Astreille ang ibabang labi bago ngumiti. "Miyuki is in good hands now. Let's go? Baka hanapin na ako ni kuya, hindi pa naman ako nakapagpaalam sa kaniya na pupunta tayo sa Korea," she said.

He chuckled. "I'm sorry if I dragged you here. I just found out last night that Miyuki is Arrow's friend."

"Nah, it's okay. I'm happy that I got to see Arrow."

"Come on, I parked the car outside."

Susunod na sana ang dalaga sa binata nang maramdaman ang pag-vibrate ng cellphone niya mula sa bulsa. She took her phone out from her pocket before opening her messages.

Dalawang message. Isa mula kay Jezreel at isa mula sa private investigator na nakausap niya noon para sa kaso ng tatay niya.

She opened Jezreel's text first. Halos malaglag niya pa ang cellphone nang mabasa ang mensahe nito.

Ikakasal na 'to sa girlfriend niya. And Jezreel has to fly all the way to America, since same sex marriage is legal there.

Astreille is happy for her bestfriend, ofcourse. Mahal na mahal nito ang girlfriend niya kaya alam ni Astreille na masaya si Jezreel sa sitwasyon at desisyon na pinili nito.

Huminga siya nang malalim bago buksan ang isa pang mensahe na mula sa isang private investigator na binayaran niya.

Kumunot ang noo niya nang makita ang isang picture na sinend sa kaniya.

A picture of her father, holding two children with a tape on their mouths. Kahit sino man ang makakakita ng picture na 'to, everyone will think that her father kidnapped two children.

But no. Her father is not like that.

Alam ni Astreille na hindi iyon magagawa ng tatay niya.

She quickly opened the message beneath the picture, isang mensahe na nakapagpagimbal sa mundo niya.

- I did everything to find any information about your dad. And I found this picture, your father kidnapped Arrow and Ayenna, along with Sebastian Knights. He's one of Arrow's parents' accomplice with the murder of the real Arrow Vlood. Astreille, your father kidnapped your boyfriend's brother who got traumatized from the incident.

Mariin na napapikit ang dalaga habang masaganang tumutulo ang mga luha sa pisngi niya.

Her father whom she trusted so much...
