5. Call

"Y/n?" Ushijima's voice broke through the silence. It was currently 4am in Vancouver, and she still picked her phone up for the one she loved.

"Ushi! Oh my god. I've been so worried. You called.. Everything okay?" Her voice hurried out as she fumbled with her phone. The sleep from her eyes automatically going away.

"Yea. I'm so sorry Y/n. My mind's has just been..." Ushijima trailed off, his mind going exactly where you think it's going.

"It's okay! It's okay. I'm just glad you called. It's nice to hear your voice finally." She smiled, her heart content.

"Same here. Um, how was your day..?" He asked her, his stance faltering as he stood at the window, looking down at the bare street below.

"It was good! We were prepping for the runway show tomorrow. Have your TV ready..!" Her voice excited and happy, the opposite of what Ushijima was feeling. Regret and sorrow.

"That's good. I've already got the snacks and the show pre-recorded." His tone mellow, but his heart racing.

"Yay! I'm excited. Look, i've got to get to sleep but.. I'll send you something real quick, it's for when i get back." She giggled, almost as if what she was sending was something that is probably very inappropriate.

"Okay. I'll be waiting. Have a good sleep."

"Goodnight! Love you."

"Me too. Night." His voice short.

Y/n couldn't help but feel her smile falter just a bit at what he said, he was usually the one to say it first too. She brushed it off and pressed onto his contact in her messages. She couldn't help but giggle once more at the picture before she pressed send.

Of course, it was a picture of her new very sexy lingerie that she had bought yesterday. A red two piece with black bows and black garter belts with red tights. Ushijima couldn't help but feel flustered about the picture, because she was already in it. He felt himself grow hot and turn off the picture right away, he couldn't feel like this. Not now.

"It better be soon Ushijima. This isn't something that should be kept from someone, especially her. I hope you figure out what really happened. This 'Mei' girl.. She better be out of your life." Tendō slammed the door behind him, leaning Ushijima an utter mess.

When are you gonna tell her Ushijima? I can already see it... her crying on the floor while she thinks about what that girl had that she didn't.
