21| Truth

"Yes sir" Sorin said, head bowed
"Good" he nodded, giving me one last punch before leaving
It was silent after he left, Sorin just stood there, before he reached for the hose in the corner.

"You're not going to say anything to me?" He asked calmly
"What do you want me to say? You betrayed us, there's no other way to say it, I don't need to ask you anything... we thought you were family" I said simply, my voice hoarse by this point.

"I didn't want to leave you-" he said
"Were you ever free of them? Or have you been one of them the whole time?" I asked
He was quiet... shoulders sagged
"It's like you said... sometimes you just can't outrun these things" he said, before the hose flickered on and I was shocked with cold water.

{ Lucian }

"Calm down!" Alex said with a bored voice
"Tell me to calm down. Go on! Do it, and I'll rip your fucking head off" I shouted, punching the wall again.

"Look the place was a bust. It's okay, but the longer you throw a bitch fit, the longer it'll take to check the other buildings. Let's go" he urged, strolling off to the car
I just... I just wanted to find her
Knowing Dimitri was safe was a massive weight off my shoulders, until I found out she was gone...

"Come on!" Alex shouted from the car, the other men loading back into the vans
I sighed, getting in the car and flexing my hand as we started driving again. I'd split my knuckles open and it kills.

I rang dad
"Found her?" He asked immediately
"No, we're going to the next building. Is Dimitri alright?" I asked
"He's asleep, keeps crying every now and then" he explained.

"And that only makes Kamala wake up and cry" he went on
"Alright, I get it dad. I'm trying" I said through gritted teeth.

"I know son. I know" he said.
I hung up, hearing my phone ring again immediately after
I sighed
"What?" I asked bluntly.

"Lucian? I- I found something" Dom said
"What?" I asked.

{ Vivienne }

"Done whining?" Lord asked, running the knife through my thigh
I groaned
"Done stalling?" I asked back in a strained voice.

He scoffed
"I told you butterfly... you're going to suffer... for a long long time before we kill you" he smiled.

It hurt to breathe now, I felt awful.

"Alright... Sorin, get th-"
Bang

"What's that?" Lord asked
Sorin shrugged, heading towards the door
Then I heard gunshots
"Oh for fuck sake" Lord groaned, dropping the knives in his hand, he was covered in my blood, his sleeves rolled up and a scowl on his face.

"It- it's him" Sorin said panicked, I raised my head, him?... Lucian?
I barely caught a glimpse of Sorin before I saw a bullet rip through his throat, dropping him to the floor
"Oh my..." I gasped, rattling the chains as hard as I could.

They made some noise but if it was Lucian I wanted him to hear it. To come and find me
And if it wasn't, then I needed to get out of them anyway to get free.

Lord stumbled back slightly, before he sighed
"Looks like our time is cut short little one" he said, picking up one of the knives
"Guess I'll have to kill you quicker than I wanted to... easier to escape without a hostage" he said blankly.

"Escape" I laughed
"If that is Lucian, he'll rip you limb from limb you weak fuck" I spat, smiling at him
"Yeah... we'll see" he said, ramming the knife into my stomach
"Ah..." I gasped, watching him leave it there, before he grabbed some papers off the desk in the corner and left.
