• Chapter Three •

• Third Person Pov •

Kenny wakes up in his bed. It's already morning. He gets up out of bed and checks that his Mysterion outfit is in its rightful place.

When that's done, Kenny grabs his backpack and heads downstairs. He says goodbye to Karen before walking out the door and towards his bus stop.

When he arrives, he stands next to Stan who is in mid-conversation with Kyle. Neither of his friends acknowledge his existence.

A few minutes later, the bus is supposed to arrive soon and Cartman still isn't there.

"Hey where's the fatass?" Kenny asks, interrupting his friends' conversation. "Uh he texted the group chat last night that he was sick. It's obviously a lie but who gives a fuck." Stan replies.

"Didn't you see it?" Kyle asks.

"Nah." Kenny replies before yawning. "I Uh, had a rough night last night." Kenny says as the bus pulls to a stop in front of the three friends.

They step onto the bus and take their seats. Kenny sits alone.

When they arrive at school, Kenny can't help but notice the intense chatter throughout the halls. He couldn't quite grasp a specific conversation.

"Oi, McCormick!" Says a voice. Kenny turns towards the person and sees Clyde walking towards him. "Did you hear?" He asks.

"Hear what?" Kenny asks. He thinks he knows what but he couldn't help but confirm his suspicions. "Craig was saved by a superhero last night!" Clyde days cheerily.

"Oh...woah." Kenny answers.

"I know right! Craig even said he looked around our age! It could be someone at this school!" Clyde was obviously over excited.

"Is Craig ok?" Kenny asks.

"Yeah- well, he's a bit distraught after seeing the hero die for him but yeah.." Clydes mood was dimmed now. "Anyways, cya!" Clyde says while walking away.

Suddenly, men armed with guns burst into the school. "IN THE GYMNASIUM NOW!" The men yell in loud, obnoxious voices.

Screams erupt from the students as the men round up every last student in the building. Kenny sighs as he's dragged to the gym.

All of the kids in Kenny's year level , the year under and the year above were all gathered in a group on the gym floor.

Kenny was thrown to the ground roughly and couldn't help but tumble into one of the older students, knocking them over.

"Sorry.." Kenny mutters as he straightens himself up. He shuffles over towards Stan and Kyle.

"You think fatass has anything to do with this?" Kenny asks. Not gonna lie, it was a good theory.

"Nah, if he was he'd probably be in here leading the pack and bragging about it." Kyle says. It's a good point, Cartman loves to brag about stupid things.

"ALRIGHT SHUT UP!!" One of the gunman yell as the last kid is thrown into the crowd of rounded up students.

"A VIGILANTE AROUND YOUR AGE TRIED TO FUCK WITH OUR GANG LAST NIGHT!" The gunman yells.

"Shit.." Kenny curses himself for forgetting about dealing with the rest of the gang that those gang members belonged to.

"YOU'VE GOT TWO OPTIONS MYSTERION, SHOW YOURSELF AND WE LEAVE WITH YOU OR WE KILL SOME KID AND LEAVE. WHAT WILL IT BE SUPPOSED HERO?!" The gunman yells.

Kenny was panicking he didn't know what to do. One of the gang members motioned their hand and another got a pistol, loaded it and pointed it at the crowd of kids.

Kenny panicked and stood up, walking over towards the gun. Confused gasps erupt from the crowd. "Kenny what are you-?" Stan asks.

"Shoot me. Leave." Kenny says pressing his forehead to the gun. Honestly, everyone was surprised. Even the gang members were shocked by Kenny's actions.

Suddenly, cops burst through the doors and pointed their guns at the gangsters. The pussies freak out, drop their guns and put their hands up.

"What the...?" Kenny mumbles.

"I messaged the police department." Craig says holding up his wrist showing off a flashy Apple Watch. "Because apparently you can do that."

• Time Skip •

Everyone crowded around Kenny after everything was put in order. Surprisingly, there was still a few minutes until school actually started.

"W-were you ac-c-ctually g-going to let them sh-shoot you?" Jimmy asks.

"Uh I mean yeah..?" Kenny answers a little stressed with all of the attention. A hand is put on Kenny's shoulder. "Well, good in you McCormick." When Kenny realises the voice and hand belong to Craig, he almost melts, especially from Craig's smile but he keeps his cool.

"Well actually!" Kenny says speaking up loudly. The crowd goes quiet and Kenny smirks. "You should all be praising Craig, I bet you those gang members would've come back if Craig hadn't called the cops on them." Kenny says and Craig tenses.

"Yeah! He's right!" Butters yells from somewhere in the crowd.

All of the students move on from Kenny and suddenly swarm Craig. Craig's grip falters as he's swarmed and he releases Kenny's shoulder.

Craig couldn't help but laugh a little at Kenny's stunt. "Fuck you McCormick!" He yells through the chatter of the crowd. Craig holds up his hand and flips Kenny off in a random direction. Kenny laughs and jogs away to get ready for school.
