Deep winters roars on the back of the three days blizzard . Snow blankets the city so fast the sweepers work from days to night to keep thoroughfares clear . Mindwinter candles glow all the nights in windows across the city , from the finest mansions to the poorest hovels .

Horses clomped over the dirt, carrying the soldiers closer to our nets hidden in the trees. Ten mounted and armored guards circled the coach. They looked right and left, but they never glanced up. I exhaled and tightened my grip on the branch. The carriage rolled beneath me.

"How much creatures had we face with knives and a mask as hideous as their manners ." Elias was thankful for the night . If the moon were out , the moonlight threaten to glowered up the damaged wings of the once glorious Seraphim into the night — so could be picked up by supernatural creatures . " Point of hiding is to got get find out . You need to be quiet for they found out" As it is , they blend into the trees , but still , somewhat distrust of the darkness . His skin goes cold — for the scrape of boot and creak of leather . But as they made their way to the bushes — no sign of enemies could be pick . Sounds of suffering rend the air - Heaven , Hell , humans and otherworldly monster

The thick, briny scent of sweat-soaked leather seeped through my cloth mask. A guarded carriage rattled down the road upwind of me. I leaned out of my tree and caught a flicker of light from a carriage lamp. The carriage's blue paint shone, gilded and mud-splattered.

Altair groaned , rubbing his head "Lords , deal—safety, money, and all manner of fancy things in your lap . And I'm gonna stay with you otherwise you're not worried" He huffed , scambling out of the corner . His footsteps echoed over the deadend , and a long, low bird whistle echoed between the trees

"Shush , I know I know , but you need to be careful . Road patrols swapped routes. Dangerous for a non-human creature running with a human . Like me and you" Elias tore through the underbrush, stolen spears slung across his shoulder and bouncing on his back

"Don't worry . I nicked their reins , but still they will follow if we don't make a plan . After all , most loyal guards I've seen" Altair skidded though the mud at the edge of a lake and leaped straight into the rocks "Thinking jumping like this is acceptable ? For this situation , most likely yes" He stepped from stone to stone , not caring his body is much heavier than a medium-sized rock

Elias lift a small locket out of his pocket , doing his best not to making a noise , but dramatically failed as he almost dropped that one thing on the floor "This is not funny like at all , sir . Terryfing .It's does not save our guards from creatures anyway . Be on guard , bastard" he hollered , shaking his head and flinging blood around "You up to not making a noise? Otherwise they might know us is here"
