Our Love Story

The weekend rolled around and the four of them got all dressed up. Mark and his sister, Sana, arrived at the restaurant and waited for Jeongyeon and Momo.

When they finally showed up, Mark waved to get their attention. Sana turned around and was completely shocked by who she saw. It was the girl she despised the most. Sana and Jeongyeon locked eyes in disbelief. Meanwhile, Momo and Mark were happily hugging each other, while Sana and Jeongyeon stood there in awkward silence.

Momo introduced her best friend, Jeongyeon, and Sana couldn't help but think, 'So her name is Jeongyeon'.

Mark introduced Sana, and Momo went in for a hug. Sana and Jeongyeon opted for a handshake, both feeling a bit flustered and blushing, which made Momo giggle.

They sat down and chatted for a while, then Momo asked if she could take a selfie with them to share. Mark and Momo sat together, facing Sana and Jeongyeon. Even though they didn't talk much, they couldn't help but sneak glances at each other.

Mark turned to Jeongyeon with a mischievous smile and asked, "Hey, can I borrow Momo for a bit?" Jeongyeon couldn't help but chuckle at Mark's request and replied, "Why are you asking me? Take her, she's yours," Mark and Momo blushed at Jeongyeon's response, feeling a mix of excitement and shyness as they walked away together.

As they strolled along, Sana and Jeongyeon remained quiet, savoring the moment. The silence was eventually broken when Jeongyeon turned to Sana, who was sitting beside her and flashed a gentle smile. "So your name is Sana," she said, her voice filled with curiosity. Sana nodded, returning the smile. "Yes, and you're Jeongyeon," she replied.

There was a brief pause, an awkward silence hanging in the air. Sensing the need to fill the void, Sana decided to break the ice. "They make such a cute couple, don't you think?" she asked, referring to Mark and Momo. Jeongyeon nodded in agreement, but couldn't help expressing her concern. "Yes, I agree. I just hope your brother won't hurt my friend in the future," she admitted, her voice tinged with worry.

Sana raised an eyebrow at Jeongyeon's statement, a frown forming on her face. "He won't," she assured her firmly. "And I hope the same for Momo." Jeongyeon decided to let it slide, not wanting to start an argument and ruin it for her best friend. "Let's not interfere in their relationship and instead be supportive," she suggested, mustering a fake smile. Sana couldn't help but laugh at her attempt at defusing the tension. "You're right," she giggled, lightening the mood.

Jeongyeon found herself captivated by Sana's laughter, realizing how beautiful she looked when she smiled. She couldn't help but stare at her, caught off guard by her infectious joy. Sana, unaware of Jeongyeon's gaze.

"Is there something on my face?". She grabbed her phone and checked her reflection, thinking there might be something on her face.

"No, nothing," Jeongyeon quickly responded, turning her gaze away.

Sana, now curious, pressed further. "Why were you staring then?" she asked.

Jeongyeon, momentarily flustered, managed to find her words. "I'm just not used to you smiling at me" Jeongyeon confessed making Sana giggle.

Momo and Mark walked back into the room, their hands tightly intertwined. As they entered, Sana couldn't contain her excitement and immediately exclaimed, "Congratulations, Mark and Momo!" It was evident to them that they were now officially a couple, and their beaming smiles only confirmed it.

Mark smiled and he pulled his sister into a tight embrace, expressing his gratitude.

Jeongyeon, being the playful friend she was, couldn't resist joining in on the celebration. She playfully commented, "Congratulations, Momo, you finally have a boyfriend!" as she wrapped her arms around Momo.

Momo, always quick with her wit, responded with a teasing tone, "Thank you, Jeongyeon. Maybe it's time for you to find someone special too," The two friends exchanged a knowing smile.

When Jeongyeon lay down on her bed, the first thing she thought about was Sana. 'She's nicer than I thought'. She shook her head, wondering why she kept thinking of her.

She grabbed her phone from the nightstand as she saw Momo's post. She stared at it for a minute then clicked on Sana's name which Momo tagged. She scrolled through her account.

She was surprised when she saw Mina, Seulgi, and Chaeyoung. She then clicked on a picture of Sana and stared at it wondering how she could be so pretty.
'I think I  need to sleep right now'. She scolded herself and then tried her best to sleep.
