'sorry Jackson you're going to have to excuse y/n from the meeting right now',
Linc said quickly walking into the board meeting and pulling my chair away from the table, I looked up at Linc slightly confused, he nodded his head at me,
'that's fine I'll catch you up later',
Jackson said to me, I quickly stood up out of my seat, Linc quickly grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the room,
'Linc what's going on?',
I asked him extremely concerned, he shook his head slightly not wanting to answer. He pulled me into the hospital foyer,
'my parents are here',
Link said, I looked at him shocked and extremely confused,
'uh didn't want to tell me earlier',
I said to him, he shook his head,
'I didn't know until I got called down here',
Link said, I shook my head slightly, I went to say something else but I was interrupted,
'y/n, honey there you are',
I heard Link's mum/mom say, I took a deep breath before putting a fake smile on my face and turning around to face his parents,
'hi how are you?',
I asked immediately being hugged, Link put his hand on my back,
'sorry guys but I have to go to a surgery so I'll leave you in the hands of y/n',
Link said before going to walk away,
'sorry just give me a second',
I said to Link's parents before catching up to Link,
'did you seriously pull me out of a meeting so I can spend the day with your parents and you can do surgery?'.
