'y/n can I talk to you for a second?',
Chief Bailey asked me, I looked at her slightly confused as I nodded my head,
'is something wrong Chief?',
I asked extremely confused as we began to walk through the halls, she looked at me not knowing what to say,
'I feel like I need to show you before I say anything',
Bailey said, I looked at now even more confused. Bailey put her hand on the door handle to the attendings lounge, she looked up at me like she was going to say something before stopping herself. Bailey pushed the door to the attendings room open, I looked in and saw Jackson on the ground trying to build what looks like baby furniture, I made my way in,
'Hey uh Jackson what are you doing in here aren't you meant to me in surgery?',
I asked him, he was frantically reading instructions,
'I have more important things to do I cancelled surgery',
Jackson said not looking up, I sat down on the ground next to him,
'baby I'm only 20 weeks we have plenty of time to build all of this',
I said slowly pulling the instructions out of his hands, he looked up at me,
'okay you may or may not be able to tell but I'm slightly freaking out about the baby'.
