'y/n what are you doing here?',
Maggie asked me as I walked into the attendings lounge, I smiled at her slightly,
'well hey Maggie I'm so glad to see you too I'm doing good how are you?',
I said somewhat sarcastically setting down my bag and jacket, Maggie shook her head slightly bringing her out of her trance,
'sorry y/n I just didn't expect to see you so soon after your-',
Maggie said not finishing her sentence instead gesturing towards me, I shook my head slightly,
'you mean since my brothers death',
I said bluntly before smiling at her slightly, walking towards the door,
'I'm fine Maggie',
I said walking out of the attendings lounge. I took a deep breath gathering myself up as that was going to be a common conversation over the next few days,
'y/n?',
I heard someone say, I plastered a fake smile on my face before turning around,
'Hey baby, how'd you sleep last night I didn't get to see you before you left?',
I asked him wanting to avoid him asking me why I was at work. He shook his head and looked at me unimpressed,
'I'm gonna leave you two the room'?
Maggie said awkwardly smiling at us before quickly exiting the room. Jackson walked towards me folding his arms,
'what are you doing here?',
Jackson said cutting straight to the boy, I shook my head at him,
'I can't stay at home forever!',
I yelled at him annoyed, he walked closer to me so he was standing directly in front of me,
'I know but you aren't ready to be back here since',
Jackson said cutting himself off so he could t finish the sentence, I stood up to him,
'since what Jackson?!',
I said the anger rising, Jackson sighed slightly,
'since Andrew died',
Jackson said saying my older brother's name, I let out my breath slightly as I felt the tears begin to stream down my cheeks,
