We got out of the car and saw that Damon was going towards the Mystic Grill entrance. Stiles and I shared a glance before assuming he wanted us to follow him. We quickly caught up to him. He leads us towards a secluded booth and we sit down opposite of him.
"So I'm assuming Stefan told you I'd be here?" Damon questioned
"Yes, he did after you walked out on us" Stiles poked. I elbowed Stiles in the side and gave him a look to calm down.
"I deserve that" Damon shrugged

"Do you want anything to eat?" He asked nonchalantly
"Are you-" I cut Stiles off
"We would love too" I answered sending a pleading look to Stiles
I wanted this to work, I've been hoping for this moment since I was young.
Damon ordered us food as a surprise and didn't tell us what he got. Turns out its just a burger and soda for Stiles and a shake for me.
Stiles anxiously ate and kept glancing between Damon and me. He was nervous and annoyed his answers weren't given.

"Okay let's talk" He said out of nowhere"Why'd you leave?" Interrogation is was Stiles strong suit
"It's not that big of a deal, just felt like I needed to process" Damon answered him
"Well do you want us or not?" Stiles bluntly asked. Damon gave him the incredulous look
"This isn't about if I want you, Its about if you want me" He replied convinced of something
"Why wouldn't we want you?" I butted in
"I've done bad things" Was his answer
"Well they can't be that bad for you to run away, besides I have too" Stiles said, remembering him killing Donavon.
