Late last night I decided to stay in my dorm room at school there was a very loud knock and it was a crying hope I knew I couldn't turn her away,I knew deep down at this moment was coming finding out all the stuff about your family has a hard thing to live with which is why I'm so proud of my parents for having the courage to set us down and have those conversations

As I woke up after sleeping in my chair I looked at a sleepy Hope who was laying on my bed she turned over to smile at me "thank you for letting me stay here last night I didn't wanna be alone but I also didn't wanna be around my family "

I smiled at her "I completely understand it's difficult when you hear some things about your family's past but I'm here if you ever wanna talk "

She looked at me "why are you my friend "

I was completely shocked at what she just said "because you're a nice person, you had such a hard life. you've missed out on a lot of childhood memories especially considering you didn't start school until recently "

"No I completely understand that part new student wanting to help, but what my parents did you to your mother it's awful and it makes me feel sick knowing that I am the result of what they did. So now I'm wondering how can you even look at me" she asked

"It's not your fault you didn't ask to be born and I always tried to look on the bright side of things. if your father had never cheated on my mother then me and my siblings wouldn't of been born and my parents wouldn't of started the greatest love story of all" I said looking at her

"I so wish that I can look on the bright side. I just can't they lied to me about everything I spend so much of my life in the dark about how I came to be,I don't know how to move past it. I just feel like the world is moving and I'm just stuck here in this dark please because of their lies" she said

I quickly moved to her pulling her into a hug "you need to talk to them they owe you an explanation about everything but also they need to explain why they lied to you"

"I know that you're right I'm just scared about what the answer is going to be my family has cause so much pain and I wanna be better than that what is my faith set in stone am I supposed to be the monster of someone story "she said looking down her hands

"Hope we are all the monsters of someone story you don't have to be supernatural to be a monster " I told her

She looked at me "I don't wanna be a monster I just wanna be better then legacy that my family has made over the years"

I smiled at her "and you will be but nobody can rewrite history in a day, It takes time there's gonna be a lot of people who don't believe that you're better than your mother or a father but you have to show them that they are wrong. you are not Hayley or klaus" I said looking her her straight in the eyes"you are hope remember that, that will make you even more powerful"

We both looked at each other and as we move forward and I could feel her breath on my lips I moved my hand to her cheek moving her hair behind her ear just as our lips are about to touch I had the voice that has been annoying since she started to talk

" wow it seems I am interrupting something" we both turned to see Lillian

Hope quickly stood up "well I'm gonna go Zach thank you for the help I'll see you later "she said to me as she walked in the door she smiles at Lillian "It's nice to see you we can Lillian have a nice day "she said walking out the door

Lillian looked at me with her smug smile but before she could say anything I cut her off " not A single word out of you "I said pointing at her

She just looked at me with a smile before walking out of my room
