"Go on, say Padfoot, say Paddy."

"No say Prongsie, Pr-o-ng-sie. Come on you can do it."

Lily rolled her eyes at the sight of the two men sat on the floor in front of an almost one year old Harry and Nell, "I highly doubt that's going to work."

Sirius shook his head, "Have a little faith Lils, have a little faith." He turned back to the small children in front of him, "Now come on, say Padfoot."

"Say Prongs." The two babies stared right back at the men without making a sound. That was until Remus walked through the door into the living room, "You're not trying this again, are you?"

Remus moved to stand next to Lily who was leant against the door frame, she shook her head, "I'm afraid they are Rem."

"Hey look! Nell's trying to say something!" James drew everyone's attention to the little girl who sure enough was beginning to move her mouth to form two syllables, "moo-nee".

"What?!" The two men turned to Remus with looks of disbelief and frustration.

Nell turned to baby Harry and said it again, "moo-nee" until he joined in, "moo-nee". The two then erupted into fits of giggles, 'moon-ee, moon-ee, moon-ee!"

"No! You were supposed to say Paddy! Pad-ee!"

Sirius and James immediately picked the two children up and began to fuss over them, bribing them with all sorts of things to get them to say their names. Whereas Remus just stood there, smiling uncontrollably. That was him, he was 'moon-ee".

Slowly the memory faded away into the darkness, leaving Nell alone with her own thoughts. She quickly recollected what had just happened to her and Harry and she wanted nothing more than to shoot open her eyes to make sure that he was okay, but she couldn't. As much as she tried and fought against the darkness, she just couldn't open them.

'Godric, I hope your okay Harry." She thought over and over again to herself.

'Nell?' Harry's familiar voice echoed in her head, but surely she had just misheard her own subconscious.

'Wait, what? Harry can you hear me?'

'Yes, can you hear me?'

'Yes, but how? Why can I hear you in my head?"

'I don't know. But Nell, I can remember what happened but do you know where we are?'

'No, but I'm going to try opening my eyes.'
She tried once again to fight against the darkness entrapping her, only this time she was stronger and was eventually able to flutter open her eyes. She squinted at first, adjusting to the brightness of the room which she quickly recognised as the hospital wing. Looking down she noticed her hair had settled as a dull grey colour.

As she propped herself up on her elbows she saw that both of hers and Harry's parents were sat around their beds, sleeping in their chairs. Although they seemed peaceful, upon closer inspection she saw that their faces were tense and bags were beginning to show under their eyes. How long had they been here?

'Harry it's okay. You can open your eyes, we're in the hospital wing, we're safe.'

After around a minute, Harry managed wake himself up too and as soon as he laid eyes on her he reached out from his bed over to hers and pulled Nell into a tight hug. His gaze then shifted to the adults as he released her from the hug, "Do you think we should wake them?" he spoke softly.

"Not quite yet Harry. I would rather like to have a word with you both first." A distinguished voice spoke out from the entrance to the wing, causing their heads to turn. Their eyes laid on Professor Dumbledore approaching them from across the room.
